He was speaking about the legal costs the money you have to always keep paying the lawyer's and the fines that you get every time watching are arrested and then you have Civil suits and then you end up in debt you have to work even harder to just break even because people forget back then the record company's gave you up front money for your album and video 150 to 250 thousand dollars know if you have to spend some of that on legal fees that was on you and you didn't get any money from your album sales until the record company got back all of its money
