As someone whose first group was 2PM when I first got into K-Pop 10 years ago, I can confirm that both, 2PM and 2AM were the original super loud troublemakers of JYP. I love GOT7 but saying GOT7 are the originals doesn't sit right with me. They clearly learned from their seniors.

Imagine what nowdays idol stan reacted if the host treated their idol like 2pm, when actually eveything just for fun, and their idol just bad at variety shows, they will blamed the variety show host for being mean to their idols and treats their idol poorly, when their idol was the one who can't make a Come back after being teased like how 2pm handled variety shows, and when thats what the core of korean variety shows, being witty and good sense of comedy.

Not only that even when idols of the 3rd gen say something savage the overly sensitive ppl call them rude. Nowadays they want their idols to be pure and innocent. I feels sorry for them . I would like to call them kpop artists . Only if newer kpop fans were nicer then this wouldn't have happened. They judge these artists and show hosts so quickly. They don't even try to look into the matter deeply. As a multifandom who loves all 2nd gen and 3rd gen kpop artists , it's sad for us as we want the 3rd gen artists to be themselves on camera like the 2nd gen artists. I hope that my wish comes true.

I remember first seeing them in a variety show centered around athleticism (i dont really remember what show) when i was incredibly young (probably when i was 10, 18 now) and they were the pure definition of chaos and they’re so funny too.
