I'm a Hottest since 2008 and I grew up together with 2PM. Now that I'm a working adult, I understand what Wooyoung means at 15:01 2PM is a healing space for me that I returned to after hard day of work, but not to the point it distract me from enjoying my reality. But sometimes the world can be overbearing, and I will go back to another episode of Jang Han Ryang. Wooyoung taught me that it is okay to take easy in life and not keeping tab on trendy. (Give a nickname) Chansung : hot... Kids. That's what I thought of. "Ddeua" (short for hot kids in Korean). From now on hottest are "ddeua" hahaha. Ddeua! Woo : hero! My hero. In every moment they were like a hero for me. Someone that leads me. My hero. Nikun : you didn't like it the last time we called you "mom". But still i want to call you like that.. ah.. so how about "mommy"? "Mommy" is cuter, right? Our "mommy's" opinion and teaching is the most important. We have to listen well to everything. Mommy~ Minjun : hotting (combination of "hot* and "fighting"). It's a nickname. Hotting! Junho : my hatti (hottest). My. Y'all mine. Hatti. Hehe. I can't think of a nickname cuter than Hatti. It's cute in speech, writing and even in English. Everything cute. Oh you are so cute. aigo~ Taek : I'll call y'all aehatti. Baby hatti. Our hottest are babies. (*Pfff look who's talking. A giant 5yo baby 😂) *Q* : When did Hottest cheer you up the most? Minjun : the moment when they give me the most strength is when i have a hard time... I think you made me realize s lot of things. Their appreciation makes me keep on doing music. So they give me the most strength when i have tough times. Hottest are the best! 👍👍 Woo : i think our hottest always keep on giving us strength. Always looking at SNS in real time. Always show interest by writing comments, support us and talk to us. When i see that, i think "wow, they always make time to think of us everyday.". Every moment. Yes. Chansung : the head lanterns from dream concert are the best of all time. I can't forget that. I think of that time. Nikun : no matter what happens they are always with us. And tell us that it's okay. "Still .. You're doing well". When they say those things, whenever our members meet we say "oh we really met s good fanclub". And thanks to our fans, we want to try harder and be better. Junho : everyday day give us energy. When i do something, you'd cut me some slack, and listen to me. If i do something on the stage you support me. So they always give me strength. Because there are people looking out for me, it gives me strength. So i think Hottest always cheers me up. Taek : when we breathe together. When we are on a stage, and we have an enjoyable performance. Like when we run together. When we breathe together. I think that's the moment that gives me the most strength. *Q* : When in your daily life do you think about hottest? Junho : that's what I'm doing now, because i want to be active. For example working out, or making something, or taking a picture. So everything that i do will(might) be seen by people. No matter what i do, the ones who will see it are Hottest. So i think about Hottest almost all the time. Woo : when I write a song. The thing I think about the most when i make music is not "oh i like this song" on my own even if it's not that popular. Then i have many worries, but i think "no, every Hottest is different." There are people that like this type of song and there are those who like other type of song. I wish both of them would like this, so it means it's a wrong music, lyrics, melody, code, rhythm, mood, genre. There is really a lot of thoughts when creating music. Taek : in a hot season, for some reason we sometimes get those memories "ah it was so hot back then". So i think of those stages we did in a hot weather. Especially if it's in a tropical country, is 20+°C and the fans are waiting for us. Those things when we perform give us strength and support us. That's when I think of Hottest. Chansung : these days the thought of working out keeps coming to my mind. I don't know why. When i work out or use bubble, Or use sns, i have this feeling "let's work our together". That's when i think of them. Nikun : when i watch the concert videos and hear the sound of shouts and see everyone's faces. The happy faces. When i see this, i think to myself "ah i wish I could go back to those times soon/fast". That's when i think of our fans the most. Minjun : when i see clothes or think about making music, i think "oh, wouldn't our Hottest like this?". So everyday i think if Hottest would like it or not. That's how I live nowadays. *Q* : What's something you want to do with Hottest? Taek : I'd like to do something fun together. For example Taecyeon team, Chansung team, Junho team, Wooyoung team, Jun.k team, nikun team and have a field day. Is it too much? Well, i want to do it. Something not as a person who performs at the stage and the audience, but everyone together. Woo : woah there is so many things i want to do with fans. Together take the biggest plane in the world and travel somewhere or have a road tour. Together camping. And to be honest if not the situation we have now (corona), we could do many more things. Chansung : i wish we could travel. And always do livestreams. Livestreams for 48 hours. Nikun : Minjun still didn't have a chance to go to Switzerland, so i wish we could go there. I think it would be fun. Tasting the cheese, beer, and just eating tasty food, skiing, etc. I think things like that would be fun. Minjun : I think it would be great if we could do a dinner show together. Junho : I've been thinking about this for a longer time. And i think regardless or our relationship (fan & singer, fan & celebrity) i just want them to be a part of my daily life. Together. I think it would be possible, then we would be a great strength for each other. *Q* : what would be an award for Hottest from you? Woo it would be an "idol". Sometimes there are people that know me better than i know myself. When i read letters from hottest like that, when I'm confused and worried, i often think "just if you listen to what fans say it will be alright". The interest, that's the love. I think of Hottest as an umbrella above me.(meaning that we protect them) Hottest are my umbrella. Chansung : an award for waiting so long. An award of gratefulness. Nikun : Jang Jang award. (짱 has similar meaning to 최고 - the best) Hottest should get this award. Minjun : from now on we will still "be together" award. We have to keep on moving forward together. Nothing can beat us. I won't let you go~ ("놓지 않을게에에") 🎶 Junho : an award of food. Because i want them to eat well. That's the award i want to give to Hottest as a present. Taek : i have an award i want to give to hottest. This award is "always". Nobody said it, right? (*He's really proud of his idea 😂) Anytime we're "always" be together. I think i really did a good job. *Taek patting himself on the back cuz he did a nice job *Q* : Is there anything you want to say to hottest? Chansung : i want to thank our fans that waited for a long time for us and the ones that became fans and give us love and support. We will try to do well, to thank you for your love. Thank you. Woo : at some point I've been talking about this a lot. I'm putting much effort so i hope fans will do the same. But i want them not to focus too much on 2pm only, but also on their daily life. it's good to heal together and have fun but i hope they won't just live for us. I hope they won't go overboard and just take every day easy, and treat 2pm as a way to heal(relax). We will try our best for you guys. Let's get along well. Nikun : it's a similar thing i wanted to say to our members. Just..thank you. I'm always grateful. If it wasn't for 2pm I wouldn't be here, but if there wouldn't be Hottest, then there wouldn't be 2pm. Because it's your beloved artists, i hope there won't be any moment when you won't feel proud, and live your best as a kind person. From now on too we will be together for a long long time.
