please dont get rid of that old 1100g you dont see those anymore only were made for 3 years was my first bike doesnt have a lot of top speed but its a torque monsster! Also that thing you thought was a fuel pump in the 1100g gas tank is actually for the fuel gauge the fuel pump is on the left under the rear fairing

I would take gas tank off drain clean and re seal the gas tank, take off the carbs clean them, new fuel filter, new fuel pump, new spark plugs and air filter and oil change should be good to go after that

@@2wheelfamily493 I hear you. It's tough to pass these deals up. I have the same affliction...Lol. I have 17 street bikes in my collection now, just picked up a 2005 Honda 919 today. I keep all of them hooked to trickle chargers and try to never let more than 3 weeks go without riding each of the bikes!

Oh my God! I can't believe the deals you guys pick up! That Valky is my dream bike! ( In nice shape😉) It's probably got the rev limiter on it like my Gold Wing did. I think it cut at 5,500 rpm which is a total joke, because it just started to really take off. My 1200, if I remember correctly, red lined at 7500. The 1500 has smaller pistons and .08" longer stroke so it should be able to turn the same rpms as the 1200. My uneducated guess is it should have about 40-50 more hp at that higher rpm. It really pissed me off it only went like 105 mph and my 1200 wasn't even close to topping out it 130! I traded it for a BMW 1150 rt a few months later cuz it was so slow and I had been dreaming of one for years after owning the 1200 and a 1000. That 1500bwas a torque monster and was vibration less even at highway speeds. It was practically silent and cruising at freeway speeds all you heard was air noise except for the loud music I always played😊. Nothing like racing with Jimi blasting!! Take care you guys!! 🙏❤️
