Just found out the bike was stolen and recovered last night this dummy gave me the address to his house and let my wife film knowing the bike was stolen. Smh these thieves aren't smart at all. So happy the original owner got his bike back. Sucks it had to be in this shape. Don't do drugs kids.

3 things stood out to me about this guys shadiness. 1. When you test rode it, he was halfway down the street trying to watch you. 2. How paranoid he was when that car stopped to talk. 3. He said "there's another dude coming to look at it in a half hour" then proceeds to say "if you want to give me a little bit less for it". You're a good dude. The way he reacted when you pointed out the crack in the frame says it all. He knew it was there and he's just waiting for someone to come along that doesn't look closely enough to make a quick buck with no regard for their safety. Sounds like a snake to me

I'm a veteran that struggles from time to time with staying positive and not getting dragged down and my motorcycle is therapy and I can tell you and your family love motorcycles and I just love how positive yall are and it helps uplift us watching. Never trust a bike that is previously used for stunting. These bikes are usually dropped more than the ordinary. A lot more pressure is normally put on these bikes

Bought a bike that blew up 4 days after buying. Second gear was gone and 1 of the cylinders was down. Told the guy and he blocked me so I sued him. Get this, the guy lied to the judge and the judge called me young and dumb and I lost the case. Fuck guys like this. Almost lost my life over $1700

I’ve always been a gullible person. It took me until I turned 30 a few years ago to realize that so many people lie so much of the time. Thank god that you knew as much as you did before you came to look at that bike because so many people would have just bought it if they had the money because they are excited about getting a bike and would already have the money.

I was looking for a stunted zx6 so I could learn tricks and not ruin my new zx6, but I saw this f4i and went to check it out, the forks were bent, the seat was held on with zip ties, the motor was slowly leaking, the fairings were cracked and that was just what you could see on first glance. Even after I pointed all that out the guy still wanted $4500 😂 I didn’t even want it at that point so I was like yeah I can’t go higher than $750. That way if he said yes, oh well I can drop the bike a bunch and if I get a couple months of practice out of it, it’s not a big loss, but I was glad he was offended at the offer and that was the end of the story lol.

The cracked frames are normally resulting from adding extra or additional frames for protection when the bikes go down. In installing these extra framing wider holes are usually drilled into the original frame and as a result the original frame will crack.

Wow! You really dodged a bullet on that one. I'm going to be buying a new sport bike and a new car in the next year or so and this really opened my eyes up to what could be out there. Definitely going to have mechanics inspect both!

Bought a Miata with a knocking engine that was masked with thicker oil, bad cat, fluids that haven't been changed since idk when, and a hope that a buyer that didn't know any better (myself) would come along. Nothing, but praise to you for doing due diligence and showing people how to deal with shady private sellers without putting yourself or your family in a compromising situation. I bought a 2009 ZX6R 55,000 miles on it and it had some red flags, some glue near the stator, some missing bolts for the seat when I had just pulled up and it didn’t start right away, I test rode it and it rode good all the way home, as I got it home, it had a coolant leak the next morning and oil, I fix the coolant leak, but not the oil, and like a month later the bike died on me on the freeway found out the stator was bad, so I bought a new stator and sold it for the same price I paid and saved like 7K and bought a 2016 GSX-S1000 abs hasn’t caused me any grief yet

I LOOKED AT A 1993 ZX-11 HERE IN MINNESOTA. HE TOLD ME ON THE PHONE IT RAN GOOD. IT BARELY STARTED, HIS CHOKE WAS MESSED UP, AND I GAVE THE BIKE SOME THROTTLE AND IT BOGGED OUT. I SAID LIKE YOU" I SADLY HAVE TO WALK AWAY"...LOL

If it was so easy to get the “socket” out then why didn’t the owner do it prior 😂😂 And that’s super shitty if he told you there was nothing wrong with the bike. This happened to me last year. I was looking for a 1996 Honda Cr250 which is a pretty in demand and rare to find. Description said it was all gone thru and ready to ride. Drove 2 hours and the bike was totally beat. Air filter rotten, pipe all dented, flat worn out tires, dented rims, bent bars. Grips and cables all just worn the hell out, plastics all scratched to hell. Totally beat and put away with zero maintenance. They used old photos of it when posted.

Old timers trick. Take a long handle screw driver with you hold the handle to your ear and place the blade on the motor. It acts as a stethoscope. You will hear everything coming from the motor.

I went to look at a bike with a female co-worker and the guy had told her it had been modified but it had never been down. When we showed up he quickly mentioned that it had fallen over in the garage that morning and cracked the faring! Weird huh! I mentioned to him that it looked like it slid across the floor as well. Lol She didn't buy it.

Went through the EXACT same process the other week. Looked like an awesome deal from pictures. Drove 3 hours out of town and the bike was a mangled death trap. Some people must be just plain stupid
