timing mark after you put tensioner , and then u turn counterclockwise , why timing mark off ? thanks

Thanks for the video. I have a 2009 Corolla LE 1.8 with noisy lifter due to high mileage. Is this common on corolla. I am original owner and I changed motor oil every 5k with Mobil 1 and OEM filter; therefore, dirty oil is not the cause. Wonder why the lifter is getting noisy. Thanks again

Which part of the engine is brand new? Block with pistons? Valves in cylinder head? By the way this is excellent video.

Hi, If I going to change just the chain tensioner gasket and to do so put the cylinder 1 in Top Dead Center compression. Can I remove the tensioner without worrying the chain jump time in the crankshaft gear? I see there is a lip below that gear in the timing chain cover that help minimizing the risk, right? My motor is a 2ZR-E25W and yours 2ZR-E260 in the serial number. Does I have to do something else?

Dont think those are 2zrfe engine. Its different to my corolla altis 2zrfe engine.
