I discovered this mixtape during summer break of 10th grade. I was building a keyboard at 3 am and stumbled upon this playlist while searching for background music. This is one of those seasonal playlists I only revisit during those late summer nights and it sounds so magical and nostalgic. Feels like I've come full circle now that I graduated highschool and am commenting on this playlist at 3am on a summer night using the same keyboard I built while listening to these songs. Wish everyone a good night and I'll be back next summer

it’s 4 am, here in brazil, and i’m - almost literally- shattered with a lot of things that is going on in my life. i bought some beers and put this song in a loop for almost 1 hour. for some time i forgot all the bad things that is consuming me alive. because of you. because of this mixtape. can’t thank you enough for that.

More than 2 years ago, I had this mixtape on repeat every single night while waiting for my crush to call me. We got together for 2 years and recently broke it off. Found out he cheated during our relationship and it's best to end it. Came back to this song and suddenly the nostalgia hits me hard. All those nights feelings butterflies in my stomach.. I have been there for the past few months.... but you forget your loneliness and depression when you start believing what you do... doing what you love and imagining what you become in future... there has got to be something in your mind that you desire... even a tiny hint although you cant find it a proper name. For me i keep dreaming in what i want to do in future.... that started bcz i kept turning my mind to think of the possibilities but not the impossibilities. It makes my mind so relaxed and i dont feel sadness of staying away from friends, and not even a date with bf just bcz i have to study. I think of the far future without lurking in the everyday comfort. All these are possible if you keep dreaming and act like you own the person you want to be in future. You will automatically work on your studies. Right now you are just confused in what to choose. Find your passion without any effect from outside world but what your heart truly accepts. And keep thinking of it. Live in that dream. You imagine in 24/7. Feel those emotions at that moments. You will not feel alone. That keeps me going. And im developing.

September 14, 2021, 1:13AM I'm writing this down with tears ready to fall from my eyes. I've been in bed since 10 PM. I just can't sleep so I decided to listen to the playlist and this whole pandemic thing sunk in to me just right now. Now I'm so depressed and I don't know what to do anymore but cry. I miss the life before this pandemic hit us. I miss my old life SO BAD. I can't take this situation we're in anymore. The situation may be different from where you guys are right now, but here in the Philippines, this pandemic really hits so hard, and that made me cry just now ever since all this shit happened.
