Jj & jason thompson are the best male criers I have ever seen. That was so sad how jason & lucky both touched eachother for support as jason gave Jake life but lucky gave him a life. When they showed lucky & liz drop to the floor was devastating. It was done rather poorly when Morgan died & they did the same thing. Maybe its bc I saw it done already exactly the same way as ll2 with just seeing them talking no sound then dropping to the floor. I remembered watching this scene & I had just had my first child & the way they fell down together is an image burned into my brain. Certain moments of gh have burned into my head & I never could forget. My son looked actually a lot like jake as a baby he had blonde spiky hair blue eyes same nose & was a wild little 11 month old as they described jake to be very fearless. Even if my child did not look like jake this scene destroyed me bc until u become a parent u really can imagine how u feel. Whereas before I cried at bjs death which I watched on yt and cried but I did not have a child yet so I just said I cant even imagine. But when y have a child watching a 4 year old die even on a tv show it's a bit more gut wrenching bc now u have a better idea how much u cant imagine it & u dont even want to go there. I thought gh could have really gotten a lot more out of Jake's death but the show had already fired Becky herbst & was to tie up her scenes until a ton of liz fans ll2 fans even liason fans went ballistic & they saved becky 's job. I remember being stunned that they were gonna fire Becky. For the life of me I could not get why. So I think that's why this was rushed. Bc they had no investment at this point in liz. God michael was in a coma & they milked that the whole year he was gone. I also hated they made Luke the driver. It was an accident but why couldnt have been a random driver. I think gh thought they were bold putting this on iconic luke spencer & see how he could knock it out of the park. I think if it had to be a character make it carly. That would have taken balls to do it since jason & carly were bffs how would jason handle it if it was his precious carly. That would have been meatier material. I think by making luke the driver it sucked bc he & lucky got really tight again esp with JJ back. Also it became more about other people than liz. It became about Jason's pain & wanting to kill luke. It also became about Luke's alcoholism. Everyone but about liz. Look I hated liason as a jasam fan but Becky herbst has been a lifer at gh & stories are never her driving them. Maybe her break down after lucky found her cheating which just dirtied up the Luz character that she got pregnant yet again by a 3rd dad & her again not knowing the paternity. I get Becky was pregnant in real life but gh hid her 1st pregnancy in 01. They wrote her 2nd pregnancy in with Cameron

Yeah, the ONLY way this Jake storyline makes sense is if it was never Jake that was hit. That the little boy who Liz presumably held in her arms before the paramedics got there, that Patrick and Robin operated on, and that Jason watched die, was too mangled to be identified. Nothing else makes sense. Now, IDK how to explain the Helena parts or where this boy came from. There is no way she could have known Jake would come running outside alone or when he would do so in order to have a similarly looking boy at the ready to push into the street. So, was she watching, and it was a crime of opportunity? Did this random little boy run out into the street just as Jake happened to run outside? Then Helena grabbed Jake without anyone seeing, including Elizabeth? Leaving all to believe that the other boy was Jake? Did Helena then find those boy's parents and "get rid of them"? It's all insane but from Cassadine standards, that's not crazy at all. Better than her bringing him back from the dead, and much better than me questioning Patrick, Robin, Liz, and Jason's eyes. I just wish GH had explained this because it has driven me crazy for years.

So sad when Robin looks at Jason and shakes her head no.

So much for the hypocrisy of protecting Jake from Jason’s lifestyle… the writers should have made Elizabeth and Jason a family years before this… with the boys but instead they sent Jason back to the town bike.

By the way this is so ridiculous that Jason is in the observatory area watching them perform surgery. First of all, he’s not even Jake’s dad. Lucky was. They would never allow him to watch. They just *had to* make this whole storyline around Jason. I’m actually surprised they didn’t insert Sonny somehow
