3.24 COLD RAGE Cleave is Almost RANGED - Berserker Build Guide for Path of Exile

In Path of Exile 3.24 Necropolis Cleave of Rage Berserker Build is one of the last hopes of Melee! - here is my endgame guide for it.

In that endgame version I worked on survivability, adding 100% Supress chance, 25Block Chance and 60% evade on top of 90% armor.
It is much easier to survive with such setup even if some hits stil lare troublesome.
Decent amount of AOE makes Cleave of Rage almost a ranged skill that can hit half the screen and with Cold version you can now Freeze anything that you hit - it is fun, fast and satisfying.

So COLD Rage Cleave been a pretty fun build to play. I Really enjoy both Clones from the Savior and all the freezes. Hope you will like it too! Melee is definitely Alive (Kind of)

We lost about 20 something % of it and it looks worse than it plays at the current moment. Freezes are nice as well!

The budget is more approximate but I tried to add it closer to that prices, 25Div version lacks many expensive items so it should be closer to the budget.

Is it worth swapping pulv to rage support? Idk if pulv aoe is worth the convenience

I prefer Rage support for the bosses and Pulv for everything else, but you can decide for yourself if it is even worse it.

I need help, i used over 200+ divines to build this build with nearly min maxed gear and go in maps and die so fast, i also have 100% spell suppression etc. like you say in the video, but i die frrom a degen? How is this possible, i have life leech, and should be full life with my damage and attack speed with one hit more or less but i also die when i test it in T10 maps. Can you please help me and have a look or sth like this?

Feel free to drop your POB in my discord, I can check this. You can also try instant leech mastery going for Hematophagy and then 10% leech mastery. If you still feel squishy try to drop Abyssus and add Jade flask instead of Bottled faith to survive better. Against degen you can try Arakali major god as well + vitality aura reserved into life. Hope it helps!

This footage seems suspicious, did you allocate the Atlas keystone Dance of Destruction for the tier 17s? The damage there looks okay, but in the invitation it's not near as good (which you cannot manipulate with the Atlas passives). 🤔🤔🤔

There is no Dance of the Destruction allocated obviously, it would make T17 harder for sure. The only reason why DMG in the invite looks less - is the way that I never bothered to take it seriously. Both clones are not hitting (it halves the damage), rage is not ramped up since it is hard to stack rage at the start of the invite and without Rage the build is not that impressive - I talk about that in the downsides. I'm confused about something. The gloves in POB are 59% convert to cold, and cold mastery is 40%, how do you reach 100%?

I do not reach 100%, I keep 1% phys for Bleed / Poison chances to work. Cheers!

Good old Varunastra is an OK Option. You can also use HH - it is cheap and very strong.

intimidate comes from Lethal pride node bonus. And you are right about onslaught, since I dropped the flask I think I forgot to turn it off by default, will fix it with moving it out or adding a source soon. Thank you for your keen eye!

How do you manage to get frenzy charges?

You get both Frenzy and Power from Ralakesh.

@@ronarray do you get them while having 0 Charges? I thought you have to get atleast 1 for it to work. Also do you still get the bonus from these charges? Asking because someone on poe forum said it just counts as maximum but you dont get the bonuses.

Ralakesh provides you with charges that provide all the bonusses. You can check them in the charge menu and DMG change in the tololtip if needed. GGG just made it less transparent.

Why do all the cleave of rage builds use the saviour sword?

It provides a huge DPS increase due to clones.

Clones provide about 100% of the DPS roughly, so just use it as a measure - Both clones do 50% of your dmg and you have 2 so 50 + 50 = 100.

@@ronarray Ahhh ok so my maths when it comes to POE is a little newbie so if you're doing 100% of a sword that has 350-400 dps then it becomes 700-800? So in theory I could use my 782 DPS sword and get roughly the same? (asking not trying to be a dick lol)

@@DonD-vm9ci Most of the time you jsut need a POb to calculate damage - the Savior case is an exception - it is literally 100% more damage. Not a single sword option in the game can be close to it for Dual Wield Attack Builds.

the build has 38k ehp . the build is not tanky at all

What? 83k EHP with Molten ON, 47k EHP without Molten at all. I do not advertise it as super tank either. Also EHP is a pretty much useless indicator and you should look for defense layers instead.

25 Div POB has saviour +7 div+ watchers eye = 27 Div, from 2 items only... double corrupt Abyssus and weapons... Insane rare jewels...

Prices are obviously approximate. Make sure that you change ALL Trees + Skills + Items to 25Div version. There are no insane jewels in that one - most of the jewels in were bought for like 1-2Div at the highest. You also getting nothing from second corrupt on the Abyssus - just get one with 90% Cost multi. +2 level to cold nets about less than 1% DPS so it should be ignored. I have already calculated the prices too - The Saviour was about 12Div, Rigwalds is 1c, Hrimsorrow is 1c, Yoke is 6Div, Bears Girdle is 1c, I got Watcher Eye for 2Div, Ralakesh is 1.5Div, Lethal Pride is 1Div, Both rings cost about 50C, Enlighten lvl 3 is 1Div, Burgonette with Cost and reserve Multiplier Corrupt is 2Div, Body armor with 3 simple stats should cost like 1Div or so - can get corrupted one for less. There are also 2 clusters that could be crafted or bought for less than a Div since Dual wielding is unpopular. All of that above is about 25.5Div + About 200c / 250c on top add a few more divines to get rare jewels and you can still stay under 30. Cheers!

@@ronarray Well doesn't matter you "got the" watchers eye for 2 divines if its not worth that much, you are a build creator, look at the supply and look at how many people are playing your build, you might have got the watchers eye for 2 divines but there is sure as hell not enough of those to go around, its like 11 div now for the watchers eye (You also surely know its not worth 2 even if you got it for that). Also where do you get covered in frost from??? I see you have it on in the config. Abyssus is 2 divines... but In the 25Div POB (I did check to have everything at 25Div setting) you have a double corrupted one with +2 socketed cold gems... You take that away, you take away the 4 mod jewels witch are a bit insane you take away the covered in frost and your damage drops by A LOT, Also you don't mention the fortify in the defense section of the video. Not that you should have because you should not rely on corrupt impliclits on weapons to get your fortify.. its not reliable

@@george3833 That's why many content creators do not give any price estimates. I don't know how many people are going to play the build, sometimes after a video items jump x10 or x15 because of resellers. It is impossible to predict and I'm pretty sorry if you cant find items for deserved price. You can only have 1 config for the whole build and not for different versions. So the config stays from the Endgame version with Polaric which provides cover in frost. "you have a double corrupted one with +2 socketed cold gems" If you read my previous comment - it gets you literally nothing and this is just the one I got from market randomly. There is also not a single insane jewel in the build - 2x Multi + Health is pretty basic. Considering One handed is not popular it can be bought for 1Div or less usually. Insane would be x3 Multi with perfect numbers but I excluded them on purpose. "its not reliable" It is perfectly reliable and I have max fortify at almost all cases with the endgame version. If you are doing enough attacks it always up. Cheers!

86million DPS? It took you 3 full seconds to kill Al Hezmin (35mill HP) in the invitation.

Because I never bothered to Curse him and the mark were on the different rare at the moment? Also no totems cause there is no point to even try that for 1 second increase. It also could be less when clones hitting different target. You don't need to maximize damage output during every single encounter - you can judge DPS by T17 encounters much more clearly. Cheers!

Just clones alone take 86 to 43 instantly since they provide literally half the damage. You also need to consider that invitation is buffed so Hezmin could have resistances or more life easily. Such take feels like nitpicking since i provide a lot of other DPS examples. Count the T17 boss fight instead and you will see proper number.
