Even with updated prices it seems that such setup MUCH cheaper than the 5 way! You can also combine Abyss + breaches together for best possible results since by adding 2 Breachs Scarab and 1 Guaranteed Breach from the tree. Thanks for this. This just got me from 96 to 97 in something like 5-6 maps (the build I'm running, tends to wipe the whole screen, so not nearly as efficient for this, while picking up shrines). Been hoarding the Teaching scarabs, trying to figure out the best way to use them. It goes nuts, if you can squeeze in some Breach as well.

I feel like abyss is too slow and not reliable. You get only 1 worm per map, maybe 2, and they can take you for a ride, just burrowing forever while your buffs expire. My personal twist on it went to breach and deli, and gosh you are swimming in monsters. But it is VERY dangerous, so you need to have a pretty strong char AND a strong PC. My friend just died twice from lag, but the exp gain is sick. I used about 15-20 scarabs to go from 95 0% exp to lvl 98. Temporal chains is bait, dont bother - they add less than 10sec to the buff timer. There is also allflame of untainted beasts, several ones. I didnt compare them between each other, but if you get a devoted mod like 840% exp gain - place it on high density pack, preferably with + sign (more packsize) and use the allflame on it. I got over 28% exp at lvl 97 from one map with this mod. Beware of extra dmg mod, map boss haunted mod and well, anything that bricks your build - losing 10% exp is bad, although you might get all that back from just one map. Having deli and breach is also profitable - a LOT of monster means there are a lot of drops, coffins drop like crazy, Unity cards are very nice, and also breach rings. Collect them, sell in bulk (60 at once) or vendor them for a chance to get a good Grasping mail. They can sell really, really high. My tree for now: poeplanner.com/a/keK

Didn't they fix the shrine EXP buff from stacking with multiple shrines?

yeah i tried this a few days ago, its good xp but its kinda dangerous, if you are a squishy character i dont recommend it...after this i tried with breaches and the xp is waaaaay better and much more safe, i was 94, now im 96 in 30 minutes...abyss loot is better but im not going for loot just xp so if the goal is xp, go breaches.
