how long were you fishing for and how long was the boat ride

Boat ride is anywhere from 1-2+ hours, depending where the captain is starting off. Catalina island is around 2 hours ish

I started parking in the street. 5 min walk saves you $20+ for parking

Yes you can call ahead of time and they’ll tell you what to bring. They also sell tackle and rent rods
