I have the 100w glue gun also and I never thought i would use one as much as i do but this thing is just AWESOME LOL i glued the paper filter back to the rubber base on my big craftsman shop vac after my SO tore it 3/4 off, to keep it operational until the replacement came in 😅 I also got the digital adjustable temp heat gun and its amazing too! I do prefer to use my corded digital heat gun when its reasonable to drag a extension out to what I'm working on ( rewiring lights on trailers for our 4 and everyone else i know) but ONLY because it will suck down a battery if you turn it up and i avoid doing that frequently for battery health, occasionally its ok though even good to change up the power drawn. You can hear the tone change 30 sec to a min before it shuts off and never over discharged a battery. Will do solder seal connectors easily let alone shrink tubing. And I made my own spot lights and work lights with the battery adapters typically advertised for power wheels ride on toys, and cheap off road fog lights but unless you add a mini volt meter and shut it off when it starts to get lower you CAN over discharge a battery with a homemade version... Alternatively you can add a low voltage disconnect into it easily enough. Im dying to get the solder station, not so much the solder gun just because I don't have much luck with that style. Considering getting a diy t12 kit and building it myself though. Thinking about the orbital sander, as i have the corded DeWalt sander, but its almost worth the price difference to get genuine, $50 for off name with 1 year warranty, $100 for DeWalt with 3 year warranty....

I wish I know about that glue gun before geting my harbor freight one. And I'll have to pick up one of them lights.

These tools aren't really "knock offs" but rather tools that dewalt either doesnt make or could be improved. I have the mellif 20v soldering station and the 12mm glue gun. Mainly because dewalt refuses to produce their own versions of these tools. Some of the tools exist like the paint sprayer and such but the cost is excessive for the average diy guy or gal.
