Love his crosscourt backhand.. He's so good at it! Maybe second to none in that specific area.. Hopefully more of this version of him will come again next season. An olympic hattrick, maybe?!

It’s alright saying Federer was tired and that del Porto was tired, don’t you think Andy Murray was tired, but he beat them both to win back to back gold medals, who else is gonna do that ,fantastic player Murray is or was just amazing to watch

Yes I agree .he played as if he is sleeping n that's the contest . It was once in a lifetime opportunity. Knowing he may not be able to play 2016 Olympics he should have poured his heart and soul in it. Though I am hugest fedrer fan sometimes it's difficult to understand his attitude during certain matches that too important matches

Andy Murray périod « Wimbledon 2012 to Wimbledon 2013 » is the best player in the world. Final Wimbledon, Win Olympics Gold, Win US Open, semi Masters, Final Australian Open, Win Wimbledon. Amazing and solid game at this périod.

I'm not sure why anyone ever comes to tennis videos to wrangle over the circumstances that made it okay for their favourite player to lose that day, especially 'he was tired from previous matches'. Particularly in this case since only the final was 5 sets and the previous rounds were 3. That's part of professional tennis, part of why the Grand Slams have 5 set matches and larger draws; if you're in a grand slam final you must have won 6 best-of-5 matches in the past 2 weeks and your stamina is a key part of that. If Roger wasn't fresh in the final, that was down to his inability to finish Delpo off sooner. Whereas Andy Murray steamrolled over Djokovic in the semis so he wasn't tired, but that happened because he played astonishingly *well*

Perfect last sentence. Murray finished Djokovic in the semis of London 2012 beautifully. Murray’s serving numbers were off the charts in the semis and finals. Believe his first serve percentage was over 65. Did not get broken once against Djoker or Fed. His break conversion against Novak 2/4 while Novak was 0/4. Same number of opportunities but Murray converted. Novak was using custom grass shoes with extra side spikes while Murray used the more conventional grass shoes with spikes on the soles only. In theory Novak should have moved better, but Murray outran him also-especially at the mid and forecourt, leading to better volleys. The center ct is also less windy since they added the roof ( closed or open), also helping Novak. Still Murray overcame Novak’s superior ball striking from the baseline. I believe Murray’s London Olympic gold medal win is one of the most athletic and skillful performances in tennis history; evidenced by beating two GOAT contenders.

@@judyclarkson5887 It's the truth. Every achievement he has comes with a big asterisk. US Open 2012 with the unplayable wind and Djokovic choking the first tiebreak. In Wimbledon 2013 Djokovic was tired after the semifinals. His run in 2016 was possible after Federer's and Nadal's loses and withdrawals, and with Djokovic going downhill after Roland Garros.

@@ravirathee6801 I've seen plenty of people say Federer was fortunate in 2009. As for Djokovic, he'd won 11 of his last 12 matches against Nadal, including a straight sets win at RG 2015. His chances were good regardless.
