To me, it's not a welcome back thing but more longtime friends meeting up and picking up right where they left off, just chatting no matter how much time has passed. People who offer their half-eaten food over the internet and those that even consider taking it deserve each other. Just put your leftovers in YOUR fridge like a normal person. I'm skeptical of buying a used bike on Craig's List, jeez. And who the he11 has leftover fries???? I can't be the only one who roots around the bottom of the bag hoping to find that little crispy one or long, cold, soggy one that escaped the container....and somehow happier with that than the full container of fresh ones I started with. The Second Way: You're welcoming us all back to Planet Greg, while simultaneously welcoming yourself back in to our lives. Perhaps there's a part of you that needs some escapism from the regular daily routine just as much as we do. Perhaps you need the interaction too. Perhaps you need some 'guy time' with fellow beard (and pimple/Cher/used cheeseburger) fanatics. Frankly, I don't mind what you're welcoming us back to, or why you're here, just as long as you are and continue to be.
