Todd...I subscribed to your channel about a year ago and enjoy watching your videos. I've been a single digit golfer for 50 years (experienced...lol), but recently started having trouble with solid strikes with my irons. My go to shot has been a push draw for about 10 years. Without realizing it, I started to bring the club inside on the takeaway. Your instruction showing the clubhead working outside the hands, and the face at 45 degrees was a game changer. Consistency has dramatically improved. Thanks!!

Todd, I have using the “vertical line swing” since May or June. The program has helped me correct swing faults and also confirm some guessing on how to swing. Setup, grip and thru the whole program has helped me. Can’t thank you enough.

I know ball position is important to this but I feel I’m hitting the ball too soon or to late if that makes sense. Excellent and simple lesson again Todd, - but just felt that there was one element missing. When I have a problem with my shot it often is as a result of where the club-head is at the top of my backswing, - ie slightly too shallow, or slightly too high. Is there a reliable fix for the correct club-head position at the top ? ( Theo - UK )

I enjoy your videos and I would love to have you make a video regarding feels for the downswing. For example, do you feel your belt buckle moving toward the target or is it and arms first swing and the body follows. Golf instruction can be very confusing. This teacher says it is body first. This teacher says it is arms first. Hold the lag. Let it go from the top. Release by rolling your wrists. Release using a throwing motion. I can go on and on. Again, what is the feel you have in the transition and the rest of the downswing. Thanks.

Which one is best for a person swinging driver around 85mph? There are a lot of opinions and marketing strategies surrounding golf balls and I’m wondering what ball you recommend to someone trying to break 90…

That tip to bring the handle back away from the target is the best tip I've heard to start the takeaway, cheers

Todd, the gentleman behind you can you use your help 😀. I played a practice round the other day it went well. The best was a PAR 3 185 yards over water and sand around the hole which makes most golfers nervous. I grabbed my 3 iron and setup like you said and OMG I hit the ball so effortlessly. It landed on the green 6 feet from the hole. My question is I seem to have a natural draw, not sure why, even when I setup like you said. Mostly I am find with it but what am I doing that gives me that natural draw?

Idk what to do anymore I feel like I've learned good mechanics from you but I'm at a point where I now hit hooks or slices rarely straight idk what's wrong. I mean as far as hitting a hook. I know what I'm doing with a slice it's pulling up with my weight on my back foot still, but the hook I just don't understand. I never had hooks before but after changing my grip and motion and weight placement through my swing I now get hooks. Don't get me wrong when everything I've learned so far goes right the ball goes exactly and I meant down to about 2-3 yards from where I want it. I am playing with plastic balls in the backyard for now but going to play for real this weekend. I'm hoping to see what all has truly changed with my swing. I also will be using new clubs and I guess I'll have to get used to them too

Hey Todd…..I’m an experienced golfer…..and my backswing is getting shorter. Should I try to go as far back as I can. When I do that, I seem to lose control of the downswing. Do you have a video that explains the length of the back swing?
