Congratulations sir you've made my day. I'm the chap who started the Bale Off Challenge. I had no idea it would be so popular or that someone in America would take on the challenge. You did well, those bales were huge

I'm glad you appreciated it! I've been following you and a few others, figured I'd take a stab at it. Hopefully a few others here in the states also try it. Considering everything going on in the world today, we need to have a little fun now and again. Happy New Year, and thanks for watching!

As usual, yours are bigger than ours 😄 I think you went above and beyond with the effort though, we didn’t include the net on this side of the pond. A grand effort sir, and a good sport for joining in..... No million bucks though, just a thumbs up and pat on the back for your labour. 😄😄🙂👍

I was so hoping for the million bucks, but you taking the time to notice and comment is a close second. Happy New Year to you.

I always strip it all before feeding. Just habit. I should get a do-over.

Well done, this challenge is a proper international sport now and like I mentioned on I do agri it has to be the next Olympic sport, 3 bales for a sprint 100 bales for the marathon, you all better get into your intensive training and diet regimes ( as long as its not vegan ) in preparation. Once again well done and a belated happy new year.

I put that at 114.86 and if you take a time allowance off for them giant bales of 77.78 id say you are joint top with the irish man😁😃😆 congratulations

I maintain that since 5' bales are 1/3 more hay per bale than 4', I should only have to unwrap 1/3 of the third bale......
@danschwinge3 жыл бұрын
The prize is, you get to open more bales.

1.5 per day, on average. Lol. If I only had a dollar for every one I've unwrapped over the years.

I chuckled when the cows mooed but, I full on belly laughed when the chicken showed up at the finish line!!! How did you train a chicken to do that? ;-)

Good job Alan...even the hen was impressed! Which state do you come from? We mostly bale 4×4 bales here in Northern Ireland. Funky farmer has got us all a bit of fun.....no million bucks though 🙈👏

I'm in Southwest Maine. I swapped to 4x5 silage bales last year as 80% of my crop is hauled from 25 miles away. It's worked out good, less wrapping, less handling, but heavy to move around. I'm still holding out for the million.
