That's not just something we say as interior designers, it's true. Your lighting plan, the layout and fixture choices will dictate the flow of your home. From lighting your path from the back door to the pantry; to highlighting that science trophy your kid won.
Good lighting illuminates all the other decisions you make. Countertops sparkle more, walls reflect that perfect shade of green (is it envy from your neighbor?), flooring doesn't look shiny and on and on ...

I’m an electrician and I can tell for sure that $350 for each recessed light is a robbery. I myself charge $150 being very expensive

I’m trying like heck to find the. Idea you are referring to about finding more reasonable options for recessed lighting. I received a quote from a local lighting store for WAC 4 1/2 inch recessed lights and it was $260 for the housing and $260 for the trim kit. I almost fell over. Can you help me locate this video?

I know right? It’s a jolt ⚡️ What you priced was pretty damn near the best! But, there’s options! WAC has a wafer eyeball for $30 so there’s some in between🙏. I think I mentioned a bunch of brands in this one, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ftySjZN5x9mRZJs.html ? But look at WAC other offerings, Dals,Lotus, Cooper (halo). You can find integrated bulbs and transformer kits for $100. You also can vary. Nobody said use the good china everywhere!

Led recessed lighting is not expensive at all I just purchased 12 4 inches lights from Amazon for $59.00 And no body use those bulky, and expensive can recessed lighting anymore

What’s this video from 1985 what’s a bulb ? A professional designer is a contractors worst nightmare. Layout rarely goes to a designers vision. New construction sure no problem, a remodel ? Now that’s funny, let’s see that video of your skills of installation.

That won’t be happening 🤣💡I specify, not install, bulbs, still. Even though the video is almost two years old, when you want mid range recessed lights that aren’t crap wafers with more choices like bulb spread, LED bulbs are still a reasonable choice. I feel for your bad experience with designers. Contractors love me💕 because I make their job easier while achieving the CLIENT’S vision.
