I've never played any three cushion, but watching it has always amazed me. It's cool to see the system in action. Makes me wonder how many of these systems are required for all the different 3, 4, 5 kick shots. I guess I'll look at more vids. I have only pocket tables to play on, and I imagine the rails, and certainly the speeds/cushion action, watching it, is quite different. I imagine if I tried this on even a good pocket table like a new diamond these systems wouldn't work, but I will give it a try. You three cushion players have my respect, I have watched some matches where it looks more like magic than 'pool', if I may, with long runs. Watching pool players that are competent to excellent in carom pool, a la Efren Reyes, David Alcaide, etc. is always a lot of fun, so maybe some of the systems do translate to a good table? Anyway, I enjoyed it, thx for posting. I also know from playing simple one and two rail banks that English/speed is critical, I would suspect much more so for carom. I would also guess that carom tables are quite a bit more consistent than even good pool tables, cushion wise.
