it's extremely difficult.... If you know the rules. Basically there's a few ways to score a point.. the most basic being hit 1 ball.. white ball needs to hit a minimum of 3 cushions.. then hit the other ball.

@@RajeshJustaguy you can also hit 3 cushion (minimum) before hit any ball. Or 1 cushion, ball, two cushion and ball. Or 2 cushion, ball, cushion, ball. Basically, you must hit at least 3-cushion before hit the second ball.

Just wondering guys, I’m not trying to publicise it or anything, it’s a free game anyway, but I just love it so much because it’s really well made… Company that makes it is called Tiger Eye,, and the game is called WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BILLIARDS, if you didn’t know about it, go on it, you’ll have some fun… My nickname on it is CARAMBOLA ( from uk ) It’s more of a simulation than a game, really nice 3D graphics Ciao ;)

@gigie555 - I love your idea of an all-cue-sports championship but I doubt it will ever happen. A little education: All cue sports (balls-on-a-table with or without pockets) are called billiards. A subsection of those, like 9 Ball, are often called pool, but they're also billiards. Snooker and 3-cushion billiards are never "pool," they're always billiards. If you want a definitive cue sports champion, you'd need a lot more than only those 3 of the many varieties of billiards. There's at least a dozen main billiard games and many sub-varieties as well. Anything less than all recognized major billiards games would be inadequate to crown a champion of all major cue sports. And some of them, like 3-cush and snooker and English billiards, are so different and highly specialize that I'm afraid few players would take the necessary time to master them all. Cheers, m8.

Just discovered this game, got some questions if anyone can help - If you are touching ball, can you play away from it and count it as if you’d hit it? If you hit two cushions, then hit the second ball, hit another hit it again, does that count? Assuming you’ve hit the first ball of course.
@IWillSayMyPeace
@IWillSayMyPeace Ай бұрын
First Q: No. You can play away from it but it wont be counted as a hit. Second one: you must have completed 3 cushions before the carom is realized, which ever order is not important. So it could be: b1 c c c b2, or ccc b1 b2, or c b1 cc b2 ... etc. C's being cushions and b's balls. As to your question: If you make a carom after only 2 cushions does not matter if you hit 5 cushions after that you have not scored.

@dikkepoema1
@dikkepoema1 2 жыл бұрын
It was a legal shot, because he did end up hitting the second (in this case yellow) ball after hitting 3 cushions. It does not matter that the cue ball touched the yellow only after the red had been hit for a second time. pushing the white towards the yellow. As long as 3 cushions have been hit before hitting the second of the two balls, all is fine. But... the balls ended touching. The referee confirmed the point by declaring the new score and than ruled that the cueball was making contact with another ball (the yellow) by declaring 'contact'. This is a rare situation and invokes a rule: starting a shot the current player's cue ball may not be in contact with another ball. This situation demands for a sort of a 'rerack' of the touching balls to designated spots on the table (apparently the lower mid position from the start for the cue ball and the dead center for the other if so available) Should the other two balls end up touching though, play may continue, in my knowledge. Different reasons can be thought of as to why this rule has been added. For one it is not allowed to make 'push shots' (jamming the cue ball between the cue and a very near ball and by doing so effectively hitting the cueball prolonged or multiple times). This rule leaves only playing the angles away from the touching ball. Probably this situation has been deemed too hampering (especially because a touching ball can very well happen confining the cue ball even more between cushions and a ball) taking away from the purity of the game. Another reason might be that every shot from a ball in contact is considered a 'push' no matter the angle or it is historically proven an unfair advantage or disadvantage.

So, Jaspers stops at 40 points ( first to 40, I take it?) and Zanetti has 1 more visit at the table to try and at least equalise for a shootout? Is that it? But even if so, why did Z get a re-rack ? Tx in advance ;)
