Shooting this episode really made me get off my comfort zone since I actually got stranded for about 2 hours in Mussoorie’s chilly nights. Tried to get as much of that on camera as possible, however - A huge part about travel is adapting and acclimatizing.
Hello fellow travellers! This is your solo travel guide Neha Nambiar and this time we’re exploring some gorgeous places in Uttarakhand - starting with the queen of hill stations Mussoorie! On a side note, this is the first time we’re exploring up north and just like any other Mumbaikar, I heavily underestimated the cold here.
And that’s what we did! Watch as we explore some hidden gems of Mussoorie - from the enchanting town of Landour, to the beautiful Dalai Hills and some fun street food shenanigans.

While returning you didn't add up ₹2000 cost of cab to dehradun So total expenditure ₹5000+₹2000 = 7000

If you are planning for a budget short solo trip to mussoorie, make sure you know how to ride a two wheeler otherwise for a solo traveler, the commute to different tourist attractions is really expensive as the mode of transport is usually cab/taxi and they charge really high. Some rickshaw guys are there but they don't go to farther distances and they also charge high even for a short commute.

Just a week back even I was there with my family where I stayed at Sterling Mussoorie which is surely among the best in town and we also headed to Rishikesh after Mussoorie and surely say both this places were totally two different planets I loved both and both are beautiful differently Uttarakhand is ❤️

Can you provide more information regarding the place from were you rented the vehicle ( the name of the shop ) also did the drom had internet services , if yes was it free to use or we had to pay for it , hoping for a reply:)

Thanks for showing mussorrie...I hv gone n no of times there when I was kid... I used to stay in Uttrakhand in Dehradun where I hv lived there for 15 yrs. It is very beautiful place surrounded by mountains only. In future maybe I m thinking of settling again in Dehradun....for me it's like my 2nd Hometown u can tell.

Hey Neha, thanks for the video. I dropped my plan for Maldevta after your suggestion regarding flaky wifi connectivity. Just want to ask is wifi connectivity at GoStop Mussorie is good, if not then any other place in Mussorie. I liked the ambiance at GoStop pretty much.

Hey, I rented it via goSTOPS, where they normally charge a slightly lesser rate. Ofcourse this depends on when you go, what season it is and whether its a weekend or not :)
