In this video, I'm taking you to Paris for a 3-day trip. Jonas and I explore the cities and take portraits along the way. We're also having a shooting with Carla for Laugé. 3 days full packed full with photographs, coffee and good friends. It was a trip I'll remember for sure.
All Photos were taken on Leica M7, 35mm Summicron, 50mm Summicron

@@TobiasHolzweiler I’m about to watch your latest video where it appears you’ve decided to part with your Leica’s. Fortunately I have many of your videos to watch before then since I enjoyed the one in Paris so much. Actually I have been considering complementing my Q3 with a M6 and 35mm or 50mm. I shot with Canon and Sony before but was fatigued by the weight/bulkiness and computer-like feel of the gear and decided to simply things (although I’m not loving the 28mm fixed lens quite yet). So I just finished watch your latest video…it would have been interesting to hear why part of freeing yourself excluded giving up film. Also in addition to the M7, are your Leica lenses still for sale and also have you sent out your gear for a CLA recently?

Glad you enjoyed it! I never shot tx400 before I always shoot HP5 but I would shoot it more often in the future for sure

LOVE the vibe of this video. Also, stunning images. The Swedish lapland video as well. NIce cool vibes. Do you scan your own film? If so, do you output in JPEG?

Thank you! I’m glad you’re enjoying the videos. I get my photographs scanned in Germany as JPG. I’ve tried TIFF before but didn’t notice too much of a difference when it comes to editing the photographs later on. Hope that helps :)

Such lovely work as always, but a little bit of a pity you had Tri-X loaded instead of color film at that very colorful gallery with the Gruyaert exhibit and the woman in red shoes. 😅

Yes, I thought the same when we visited the exhibition. I enjoyed the shots a lot, but it’s a little controversial shooting black-and-white when you see someone who is famous for his color work 😂
