Join my wife Niki and I on this epic 3 day, 40km hiking and wild camping adventure in the Lake District.
With over 1,350m of total ascents, and 800m peaks, this is an ambitious route.
Hiking over 9 hours a day, covering long distances whilst also looking out for wild edibles.
Gruelling terrain slows our progress to only 1km per hour at times.
Cold, wet and foggy conditions push us to the limit as we desperately crave a warm tent and some hot food.
Despite this, the feeling of accomplishment prevails.
