I still laughing! This is so insane and psy-ish! Your techniques with a mix of some Eventide plugins made my day. My issue is when to STOP and progress... It´s to much fun and SO hard to choose from all crazy sounds =)

Nice! I was just playing about with a new (to me) trick whereby my delay is 100% wet and is getting it's source from a second instance of the VST-i. On this second instance, i set a slower attack time of the synth....just a few milliseconds is sometimes enough....this works really well with a ping-pong delay.....it gives a really smooth delay without the attacks drawing too much attention and you can have the delay louder than otherwise would sound good..... and it's also cool if you add a reverb (again, 100% wet) pre the delay. And then i mix this all in with the dry first instance of my synth (perhaps also with a little reverb).....it's really easy to set all this up in Blue Cat Patchwork. But Snap Heap also looks cool, gonna check that out.

Why I chose Bitwig Studio as a DAW: it has its own INTERTNAL MODULATORS and you can use them with all the parameters of the VSTs too ! For example I can choose the delay I want, I simply add a Bitwig envelope modulator , assign it to a filter in a Delay....game done! The cool thing is that I have A LOT of this modulators, for example the magic KEYTRIGGER that I assign at he harmonics of the bass in the EQ, so I can vary the tune of the bassline and the equalization of the harmonics automatically shift on the right frequency of the SAME harmonic but on the new tune ;)

Cool Bitwig is nice, I have it. However, the note-tracked EQ is a lot of effort - just render the EQ into your waveform of the wavetable, and no need to worry about shifting the harmonics, it will be in the raw waveform ;) Even better, just draw the harmonic balance you want in wavetable editor.

@@DashGlitch cool trick too! I prefer to maintain my synthesizer until the end, sometimes I found myself to want to go back to change something as envelopes or the amount of them on the filter, but can't do it because of the export. So I maintain my synth and the full processing chain until the end. I know I can simply bounce in place and then deactivate the bassline midi track, saving all the CPU usage , but I seriousely continue to finetune my bassline during my production. I know: I have to take it more easy :D ....but NO, I want my bassline PERFECT. I have to try to user my bass waveform as a wavetable as you suggested me!

Nice vid dash. You probably know this, but the latest version of Cubase also has a similar multitap, that can also add fx to each "tap". I have to say though that I like what you did with Snapheap, It seems like you would have way more control than the cubase version. Great info as always, I will definitely be playing with this over the weekend. :) Thanks!

Really enjoy the exploration into Snap Heap - I personally purchased Byome and curious to see if you would do a tutorial using the BYOME plugin with FX sound design.

Hey Dash , how can i download the full version of Snapheap with all the fx? right now i can only use delay,chrous,limiter.. but can't use the filter Thank u!

Each effect is its own product or you can get the entire bundle one-time or monthly
