This. This is my favorite comeback. It confused them, and especially if they get offended, it´s just like 'well, then why say it yourself?'. On the same note, depending on what they say (usually something demeaning or a backhanded compliment); 'omg, thanks for noticing, I put so much effort into that'. Just straight up confused so people and/or makes them shut up.

I deflect insults with humor. "Thank you, I did not know that!". "I will present that to the board and we will take it under advisement". "Is that the consensus?". "How did you know?!?". These are only limited by the imagination. And it stops them in their tracks because I agree with them. Plus it's funny, so everyone calms down.

A few days ago, one of my friend suddenly said this is our dog, our small dog implying to me as she was insulting my height. All my other friends just ignored her but she said it again only to get ignored again. I really wanted to say something back but couldn't think of anything relevant, still can't think of any. In my case when haters appears. I just totally ignore them, like I just look at them like confused and let them talking alone. They hate it. But when they really hurt me, I confess it so they felt like as the winners and then I gave back them with literally what they hide and hurts them. Cause I can see what people hides haha. Another way: if someone is making fun of you ask the person why they're doing this, this will wake them up to reality, and if they keep going and say something hurtful about you, ask them "why do you feel that way" and if they say something like "because your boring/ whatever hurtful" or "because i hate you". THENN say "whats the actual reason." And if they respond like all angry like "what??! I just told you why!!" They are not telling the truth, but if they say the same thing again like "because i hate you.", Thats the truth!
