This NBA Season had a lot of ups and downs for so many different players. In this video I am going to talk about 3 NBA Players who have had a bit of a downturn this season and 3 players who have really overachieved.

Anyone who looked at Pooles' analytics before he got traded, it was pretty obvious what kind of player hed be in Washington. It seems really simple, but a really good indicator of whether a young player is getting better, smarter and their basketball IQ is developing is shot percentage. Especially for guys like Poole, being a volume scorer who essentially needs 20+ shots a game to put up 20+ points a game. His percentages didnt really improve year over year like they should have, despite playing with Curry, Thompson and others for portions of it and not being the focal point of opposing defenses when they were healthy. Despite scoring more in his last year in Golden State, his percentages took a decline. Thats never a good indication. Most stars have improved in that category year over year on their way to All-Stardom. Regardless of that though, pair the shooting which wasnt the worst, but not great with the fact that he played 0 defense and was almost as big of a liability as Trae Young is, the rate at which he turned the ball over especially in comparison to his assists ,and the off-court antics and it all made for a player whoes best days were behind him. Dude doesnt play basketball for the love of it and the desire to win, he plays for the money, fame and the girls. If he really cares, hell need a mentality and reality check about his place in the league and his role. As of right now, and throughout the hype train he was on, I said he wasnt a good basketball player at the NBA level. Hes just being exposed now is all, and defenses know how to guard him, and hes not serious about improving past that point. When the modern Golden State is giving up on you and almost instantly regretting the money they paid you, theres a problem. Wish him success, but I doubt well see it.

I just think that the pressure was too much for poole. It is too early to tell, but i think that he just cant lead a franchise, and some people just arent built like that

The playoff Donovan Mitchell comment was a little weird knowing that he had a playoff career scoring average that was all-time great for a couple years. I think his stats are like 27, 5 and 5.

I feel like you've been hanging onto this vid for a while. Wiggins numbers for the season look bad but he's looking much better for the last month. Exum started amazing but has been out injured again. Giddey's numbers are easily explained by his role changing, they now have Chet and a number of other players have made jumps. Giddey was getting triple doubles a few seasons back because the team needed him to, Shai was out a lot and there was less help. With Shai healthy, J Dub going off and Chet in, plus the depth of the team, Giddey does what he needs to, but his numbers wont be as high, there's been a few games here and there when the others went cold and he stepped up, it's what makes the Thunder so dangerous, you can't shut them all down.

Tyrese maxey gas been way over achieving i mean his fellow star is injured and hes still able to run the show! Not to mantion he is a first time all star and made a tremendous jump since last season he deserves his flowers.
