I think of my dad when listening to this song. (Still alive) in 2002, (before I was born) my half brother, my dads first wife, (before my birth mom) my half sister, and my dads mother-in-law all died in a car crash. All died beside my half brother who was paralyzed for the waist down from the crash. My dad would think of his wife and his daughter every day, and then, my mother came along and married my dad. Then who had me, 2 of my sisters, and my brother. He is doing well now that I have a 2 year old baby brother and sister. He said that my baby sister “Ava” reminded him of my other half sister “Lexi” (who died in the car crash). The lines “I’m here without you baby, but your still on my lonely mind, i think about you baby, and I dream about you all the time” Really makes my think of what my dad went though. Still I will always remember this song, and how special it is to my family, and myself. (Half brother was 3 yrs in the crash, and my half sister was 1 yr.

Man, this was one of the songs my brother listened to when he was deployed overseas. After a couple of months, she broke up with him...giving him a letter which stated she was seeing someone else the whole time. That had broke his heart to millions of pieces...I think that was one of the things that made him stone hard. The next month he got shot in action.
