Hi kids, I use a pepper grinder set on really fine to crush either high-quality pellets or even dried shrimp eggs, works great.

I been pinching my flakes daily for my fry for awhile now and thought theres gotta be a better way to do this. Then saw the plastic bag and just had to hit myself. Ingenious!

Another thing you can use is crushed pellets its helpful to have a mortar and pestle for that so you can powder them

Hard boil for 14 minutes on high, relocate egg to cup full of cold water, wait 2 minutes then peel.

i keep my betta fry with small zebra danios so they learn to eat from the top so the flakes work fine for me :)

My goldfish fry are 3 days old. I put in some baby brine shrimp but they just ignore them. I don't know if they just don't know its food or to wait a bit longer to try and feed them.

Be careful what you feed egg yolk to. If you feed it to young Bristlenose plecos, they will drop dead shortly after. I do not know if this applies to other plecos or not.

overfeeding without cleaning up the food is a big issue for fry that grow up. Decading food is a bacterial source, and fry are very sensitive for bacterial load - infections,... the mortality rate will go up fast.

Hello, could you tell why the powdered flakes in the baggie shouldn’t be used for Betta fry? Is it bad for it’s health? Or will the fry not eat it? My son insisted getting a little Betta baby that he loves and I’m worried about it not eating properly and dying. :/

Vinegar eels are smaller than microworms and they remain suspended in the water unlike microworms which sinks to the bottom
