Ugh...I just deleted my comment by accident....see Bruce, even adults make a boo boo and are not perfect. In don't remember what you did to make u and ur mom laugh when you started, but I laughed too!!! I loved your pom pom Bruce. I'm with ya....put lots of yarn on. My grandson is 20 and I don't think I ever taught him to make a pom pom, but when I go visit him in TX, I'm going to show him all 3 ways. This was great!!!! Thanks for sharing!!! I love that you involved the children in your craft video. It's so important today to have a close family relationship. Children are in danger of so many outside evils. Monitor tv, radio, music , movies, etc. There really are subliminal messages, honestly. It's ok to say no a bit. Always give an alternative to replace it, if it warrants a replacement. Your children are priceless and they are too cute for words. You can be very proud of each of them. Bruce still needs your approval it seems, Starlit is already fairly confident and Squishy is just fun!!! He's ready to learn, learn, learn. He'll hate you for the nickname when he grows up, lol. But it is cute. You're a great mama. I really enjoyed!! Thanks for sharing and teaching an old lady something new! God bless, Merry Christmas, L :)

You are the only person on KZfaq to tell me that the more yarn you use and trim that it makes a tighter pompom! Thank u!

Thanks for sharing, I knew about using those items to make the Pom Poms, or wrapping the yarn around my hand, but I’ve not seen the ‘trick’ with the circles of card to trim them, that will save a fair bit of trimming time, lol... you have lovely kids too 😊🧶

This is a great tutorial for pom poms! I just finished a hat using Bernat wavelengths yarn and the bean stitch, and topped it with a pom pom. I like the method using cardboard with a slit cut into it. That works like a charm! Thank you for this video.🙂❤️👍

I CANNOT believe you call your youngest ‘Squishie’!!! I was watching more than hearing, but heard Squishie and stopped in my tracks. That’s the name I gave my cousins baby boy the day he was born, 4 mos ago!! Love the video and how you included all the kids. It gave me an idea for a craft hour... THANKS!

Great video!!! I have seen people say they used empty toilet paper rolls & cardboard pieces to make pom pom's, but I have never seen how each of them are used to actually create the pom pom's. Very easy to do for each of the types made. That board with two nails idea is stellar for me, my family has done wood working & mechanics most of my life. It just comes naturally to every one. Thanks for another Great video!!! 💝🐑🐼😊

When you tie the yarn around the middle, try making a surgeon's knot on the first tie. It'll hold the first half of the knot tight without needing a finger to hold it ;-)

The blue yarn cookie sandwich is a great idea to make nicely rounded pompoms! Unfortunately, more yarn tends to get cut off than the size of the pompom. I don't like wasting yarn, lol!!

lots of heart here, thanx btw if you are making many pp you can work on a bunch of newspaper and so it doesn't fly, halfway through layer another layer over the clippings, then roll it up and toss it away. I have seen one person use old sheets and sit on the floor and then roll it up and toss it out but that is too extravagant for me. I like the newspaper idea. If you want to save the cuttings to make a pillow or stuff something, you can turn the paper into a cone and then empty into a bag. Thanks again for your good tutorial.

@@TheProperPineapple Holly my husband & I were watching one of your video's a while back when you were talking about your family and beliefs & he said I'll bet you she comes from a Baptist Church. We have also attended Baptist Churches most of our married life & both of us for several years before we ever met. 💝🐑🐼😊 Have y'all ever gone to the "Creation Museum" or "The Ark" over in Kentucky? I would Love to eventually go for a weekend to each place. My husband Chris says the Creation Museum is so big and there's so much to see that it takes a couple of days. And I've heard the same about the Ark that it's best to go for the whole weekend, because there's so much to see.
