Love this video and look forward to trying all of them very soon! Tip: When I am mixing liquid and dry ingredients, I do it in this order - Mix the driest ingredients (flour, powder, salt/sugar, etc) first. Then I add the next less-dry/less-wet ingredients (paste, oil, syrup, etc) in stages, mixing well. Then I add in the wettest ingredients (the liquids) last and mix until everything is well incorporated.

My favorite sauce is the sauce is the second one and I've always been so intimidated by it! ... idk why when i make simple korean food all the time (black bean noodles,tteokbokki with ramen and whatnot) I think its because of the vinegar and it usually calls for corn syrup which i don't have but LOL thank you so much for the vid! Cant wait to make it today to add it to all my rice and veggies

Re3iRtH, no, actually, I am not vegan or vegetarian myself. She wasn't fond of my occupation as an arborist. She didn't like my irregular income as a business owner. She didn't like both the physical and financial risks I took. So she started having affairs. When she announced she wanted to separate, I wasn't surprised. Our dietary differences were minimal.

I have sort of an ignorant question here. How is Doenjang different from Miso (other than the obvious being one is Korean and the other is Japanese)? Can they be used interchangeably, or do they have completely different flavors? (Edit for Clarification: After googling a bit, I know Miso is fermented with grain and Doenjang is not...my question has more to do with flavor)
@12345fantage

Doenjang is more pungent, stronger in flavor. It taste significantly different from miso. Miso has a more umami taste

How long will the pepper paste and the fermented soybean paste last? I have had both in my fridge for 6 months because of one recipe I made. Don't know if I should risk dying or just buy new boxes. ☠️
@evileyelash8094

It should by good. Chili is pretty bacteria resistant and the preservatives of most commercial condiments last a really long time - just like mustard and ketchup. I keep mine for a very long time as I have so many. Just be sure there are no physical signs of spoilage, like rancid smell or mold.
@tiff2106
@tiff2106 6 жыл бұрын
Hungry Bonsai both are fermented so the healthy bacteria will keep bad bacteria at bay. As long as you keep them in the fridge (I always keep the oxygen absorber inside) and there is no mold or a bad smell you‘re good to go. Mine last forever, easily 6 months. Just remember to always use a clean spoon when taking some. 😊
