STEP 3:
Fill Up Form 2 ( Certification of Professional Education) and send it to your Nursing School.

Fill up Form 3 ( Verification of Foreign Professional Licensure/Certification ) and send it to PRC.

The NYSED will start to process your Application once they received all the Documents.

Thank you for your video! I found it very useful during my application process. I would like to ask how we can check our processing status online once I paid and have all my documents sent out. Or we can just only wait for the email after few months to get my ATT for the exam? I am worried if they didnt receive my documents and both of the parties are waiting for nothing. Thank you!

@DS Thank you so much for watching. 》 The processing time usually takes 2-4 months once all your docs are received by the nysed. 》Everytime they received your documents, usually they will send an email confirmation that they received it. 》 if you have a tracker # for all the documents (like your school, provide a tracker # & your local license verification ), you see in the trackers detailed that it was received and u didn't get a confirmation. I suggest following up with NYSED to make sure that they received it. 》 Yes! Once you send out all your docs & paid them, you just need to wait your ATT to schedule & take the test. I hope this information will help you in regard to your application.

@Mars Pam, In my case, I just requested my school diploma & and T O R, and I didn't get problems in my application. But I suggest that you ask your school if they also submit an RLE to NYSED before.

Thank you so much for the video. It was so clear!! I have questions: I did steps 1 and 2 in April 2023. But until yesterday I realized that I had to do step 3 so I already did it and paid. What do you think? Should I wait for a response or should I do again the Step 2? Another question, if I did step 3 with option 1. Once you start a file or application to NYSED, it will be open for 12 months, and you need to submit all the required documents to process your application. The NYSED will be starting your application once they receive all the documents. Within that time frame. 》if the NYSED will not receive your documents, your file will be automatically close, and you need to pay it again. 》 In your case, your file is still open until April 2024. Just submit your form 2 ( nursing credentials) so the NYSED can start processing your application. 》NYSED send an email confirmation for every document they received. If you received a file number or application file number from Form 1 (online application), you can contact NYSED to verify that they received your documents. Here are the documents that must be submitted to NYSED, such as: 1. COURSEWORK Certificate (Infection & Child abuse 2. Form 1 (online application) 3. Form 2 ( nursing credentials 4. Form 3 ( license verification) is optional and not mandatory to submit as long you didn't declare any local license in form 1 online application. Supporting documents needs to be submitted, such as: 1. Diploma from Elementary to College 2. Passport copy 3. Birth Certificate/ Married Certificate 2. In regards to step 3 option 1, unfortunately, I don't have any idea how to process your nursing credentials via CGFNS. 》 I did step 3 option 2, which is I filled out form 2, and I sent it directly to my nursing school, and I just requested TOR, RLE, and course syllabus, then my school also sent it directly to NYSED. I hope I have answered your question.

Hello, yes, you still need to upload your elementary diploma even though you will not declare your local license. 》 Diploma from elementary to college is a mandatory requirement to processing your NYSED NCLEX-RN application. I hope I have answered your question.

@Martin Laurence Grajo Hello po wait niyo na lang sa email niyo eligibility to take the exam or ATT > once nakareceived na po kayo ATT pede na po kayo magparegister sa exam, then makakareceived kayo windows date for the exam. >> Once my windows date na kayo pede na kayo magpaschedule ng exam >> Processing time ng ATT para makareceived 3-4 months. >> Windows Date ( 6 months) I hope I have answered your question.

Hello, it's not required to be in New York to do the application process. You can do it anywhere you are. The best time to move to New York is when you have the New York RN license, so by that time, you can start applying for RN job.

Hi, regarding the PRC requirements would it be really necessary to request it from PRC office itself? As i was wondering how long would it take with the numbers of applicants requesting from them, would it be fine to Ill send the copy thru DHL to NYC as long as it is sealed? Furthermore, for PRC license will they accept the e-ID extracted from the prc portal account? As i didnt get the physical card yet.

Hello, I located the video, and it's incredibly useful. I actually followed the same steps for my application four months ago, and just yesterday, I received an email stating, "Hello, Your education has been approved, and your file has been sent to the processing unit. You can now monitor your file's status using the contact form on this page:...". What steps should I take to obtain my ATT? Could you please advise me or create a video outlining the next steps? Hello! I highly suggested calling the NYSED customer service and asking them the status of your application. But usually, the processing time is 3-4 months to receive ATT.

The processing time usually takes 3-4 months. It might delay if there's any issue with your documents. But once you submit all the required documents and you receive a confirmation that the NYSED received it all. After 60 days, you can follow up regarding the progress of your application. I hope I have answered your question.

Hello, thanks for watching. After you filled out the form for the 1st nursing school that you went. You just need to click add school at the buttom part in the form. There will be an option in there that you can click to add another form for another school.

@taniehethel2703 Hello, it depends on how long it will take to finish both two courses. In my case, I just finished it in one day. But you can also pause & resume when you only have a vacant time. But at the end of each course also have a short type of exam that you need to pass to get the certificate. And once you start the exam, you can't pause and you need to finish the exam. Hi, I highly suggested doing the physical signature. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if NYSED accepts now a digital or scanned signature. Or you can also call the NYSED to ask them if they accepts digital or scanned signature.

Hi, i appreciate the updated video, i do have a question, i previously took exam for hawaii and failed and not planning to do NY for the unlimited test it offers, on the hawaii application, i declared i have philippine lisence but its expired now and i have no means to go back to the philippines. I am planning to say yes, to the question where it will ask if i took nclex previously, but plan to say no to foreign lisence (coz technically i don't have one coz its expired). @rubyk8309 Hello, Actually, form 3 (license verification) is not a mandatory requirement for processing the NCLEX-RN in New York State. It's optional to declare or not declare any license from another jurisdiction. The processing time and the result will be the same if you didn't declare your PH license. 》》 But in your case, that you're already taken an exam in a different state, and it may pop on their system about your previous information. And I'm not sure if it's safe if you are not going to declare your PH license cause maybe it cause a delay or issue on your application. I hope I have answered your question.

Hi for the foreign nursing credentials verified step: I have already registered myself to CGFNS and bought their CVS documents for the practising certificate verification and school certificate/transcript verification then mean I don’t have to choose option 2 to fill in the form 2F and form 3F right ? And then what I need to do is just take wait for their email to inform me that I’m eligible to take the Nclex exam?

@shuangliwang7059 Hello, Yes, as far as I know, if you did the CGFNS. The CGFNS will be the one that will be forwarding your documents to NYSED, and you just need to wait an email from NYSED for the ATT. 》 But I highly suggested contacting the NYSED in regards to your application to be sure it's on progress .

@ferd001 Hello, local license or having a license in your country is not a mandatory requirement for applying to NYSED NCLEX-RN. 》 Form 1 ( online application) 》 Form 2 ( nursing credentials) 》 Certificate such as: child & infection control 》 Diploma from Elementary to College. Those are the required documents that you need to submit to NYSED for your application.

@user-dz8ri4gj5d Hello, you can send the form via courier. If you still have relatives in the Philippines, then your relatives are the ones who will be sending form 2 to your nursing schools. Also, include an authorization letter or SPA in case your relatives will be needing it. I hope I have answered your question.

@Liezel. P, Thanks po for watching. 1. Once ni declare niyo po UAE license niyo need niyo po fill out form 3 & send niyo po sa BON dyan sa UAE. (Optional lang naman po form 3 (license verification either sa PRC or sa UAE po) 》 In case declare niyo po PRC license niyo fill out niyo po form 3 & dalin niyo lng po sa PRC. 2. Mandatory po requirements is yung: 》 CourseWork -child abuse & infection control. 》 Form 1 online application 》 Form 2 (nursing credentials) - need niyo po fill out & send sa skul niyo. I hope this will help po!

@LoveMyGavin Hello, you can submit/upload your diplomas upon filling out Forms 1 ( online application). You can upload it after you fill out the education information. Just specify the name of the documents that you will be uploading in form 1. 》 I hope I have answered your question.

@Adelaida Leonar welcome and thanks for watching. Regarding your query, you just need to find a Professional English Translator to Translate your Diploma into English Form. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if the NYSED provides an English Translator. But you can check it when you go to the NYSED website and type in the search bar "Provided list of English Translator or English Translator and it will pop up in case they provided a list of English Translator. I hope this will be helpful🙏

Hi, thank you for the video. I would like to know if I attended for 2 Nursing Colleges: 1 year on the first Nursing school then continue my 3 more years and graduated on the other school. Do I have to still declare my first school? Thank you.

@Quaratine Thoughts Hello, Yes you still need to include the first nursing school and include the start date & end. In question, if you received a diploma in your first school just say "NO". >> Then in another school put you received your nursing diploma including the start date & end. >> Just submit your 2 forms to the school where you received your diploma.

Follow up question Ma'am, sorry. How about in Nurse Form 2F? How would I fill out the section 7 where dates of attendance should be mentioned? Do I have to mention the 3 years period only from my 2nd Nursing school? Thank you again.

@Quaratine Yes, just put only the start date and end of your 2nd school where you receive your nursing diploma even if it's only 3 years. >> if you already mentioned your 1st school in form 1. It's okay not to include it in form 2. But I suggest that you mentioned to your 2nd school that also include into your TOR the course & subject that you credit in your first school.
