White school glue works well for gluing paper and fabric. it's inexpensive and easy to find in stores. I only use more expensive glue when necessary.

Thank you very much for the tutorial LeAnn! The binding part is what I am worried most about that's why I haven't done any journals yet. Thanks to this video, I realized binding the journals is not that complicated 🙂

Hi! Im new to your channel and new to junk journaling. I am on a very strict budget so, I cant afford to buy much stuff and starting a new hobby is always expensive, But I'm hoping this particular hobby will be less so. At some point I'll have to get started but for now....I'm just watching videos.

Hello, Jennifer!!! You can make fabulous journals using things that cost you nothing. You will start to look at your trash differently. :) If you let people know, they will save things for you. My daughter just went to Trader Joes and brought home the Muti pages flyer for me. It has all kinds of fun images that can be used. If they still have school glue on sale, pick up some of that while it is on sale. Anyway, so glad you are here!!! Have fun and let me know if you have any questions. :)
