In the third footwork at 3:56 , you forgot to mention something. When stepping with the your right foot forward (step1), the step you forgot to mention was turning that foot's heel to the outside (step2), then step3 is just moving the foot behind you. THank you for the lesson, I knew how to the 1st footwork but not with the flair you do it with. And footwork 3 is beyond amazing

What is the name of first move bro

I have a pair of vans classics that I have been practicing moves like the ones in this video in at home on a wood floor. When doing the pivots, like in the first move, I feel a lot of resistance because of the grippy-ness of the rubber soles. I was wondering, I have seen mention of people scuffing their soles in order to try to reduce the grip on them. Is it just a matter of needing to build up strength in order to fight against the grippy-ness of the soles or is there some way that you (or other dancers) break in sneakers that helps them to work better for dance moves that require pivots and turns?
