I wasn’t that surprised by the UG game. UM is a team built to play with a lead. Our defense was taylor made for them to beat us!! Once they fell behind it was like watching them against OSU for the last 2 decades. I honestly thought cincy would fair a little better. From what I could tell they were playing the way a lot of teams play against OSU. Try not to give up big plays in the passing game and play between the 20s and hope to be good enough in the redzone to force field goals. Wasn’t a bad plan just didn’t have the talent to make it work.

That is the problem for UGA. i AM 100% in UGA corner but I am considering the quality of team UGA played in the Orange Bowl 2021 as apposed to playing BAMA for the National Title. That said BAMA was playing a much weaker caliber team in their playoff game too. All this just proves one thing to me is that is the SEC is the conference. I agree... we finally beat OSU, but that's just one obstacle on the way to the natty. That's really just the surface of the Elite waters of college football. The next step for Michigan is to get to the Elite level. Beating OSU does not put us on that level. We need to bounce back, and then beat OSU again, then go for it. It's more like Harbaugh prepared for the "big game" as Michigan vs. OSU, which of course it is, in every Michigan season. The CFP game wasn't really the same. We weren't prepared for this, because we didn't expect to make it that far.
