Armiger, Saurus and Shield Guard are really great champs. The only thing is that for new players getting the right stats might be difficult.

Commander is probably my favorite uncommon up with Armiger and Shieldguard. Put her in a reflex set and she does very heavy single target heals and fully fills turn meter (if the target has full hp after she uses a2).

Im f2p and shieldguard was my first champion to max and I use him on about everything including arena. I think he is actually underestimated even though he gets shoutouts. He is really fun on f2p

I'm so glad you mentioned Saurus! Hardly anyone talks about him, but I've had him as my 12-3 campaign farmer for a while now because I didn't have Bellower and hes a BEAST. Runs usually take around 12 seconds but I sometimes get 7 second ones too!

While I've recently gotten (finally!) some good champs for lizardmen; Saurus is still on my faction wars team. I also used him a ton in early game Spider. I'm mostly f2p so I love this type of content.

Shieldguard was my second champ to 6 star next to my Kael, I use him in almost everything right now

Old meta uncommon is Zephyr Sniper for Spider. Her a1 attacks all targets and her a2 is a party continuous heal. Like most uncommons though, she takes some uber gear in order to be that effective and by the time you invest the time and resources, you probably find somebody better for that role.

I saw one of your old videos on shield guard. He was my first six star, and I use him freaking everywhere. He’s hard carried me through early progression, and now carries me through doom tower and mid-level dungeons. I don’t expect him to go anywhere.

Rewatching as i recently dropped my Cell & everything from Contacts to R. S. L. Reset ! Sadly I've been Playing Daily since 3 weeks after game 1st started ! Did the whole contact tech support ect. & Yes i made tons of Mistakes like not Wrighting down all my log-in info! Burning Duplicate Champs, but while waiting for a response from tech suport a few things happened i picked up 2 Fallower's new to the game. Found the Clan i was in with my Original acct. & picked up a few New Champions. Right away i sought out these 3 !!! & Infiltrator i had on other account! Love to see a Build on him if possible. I've since been able to go back to original Acct. But not do sure i want too Now? I'm older than Most so i play all hrs of day or night, @ work i set up the Multi battles to get my Dailies done. That said tks. For Ur time & another Great Video.

Armiger and Athel, or as I call them: "The double A battery and assault", are my top 2 favorites out of the champions I've seen so far. They're both super useful and they look so simple yet so cool. And I am an absolute sucker for any character who has a shield but also packs a mean punch.

Very good video especially for new player who does not have access to Legendary or Epic. I use Zephyr and Saurus, Commander is another one, but now consider Shieldguard. However, you left out some details, you don't get that kind of short cooldown immediately, you must max them out, in which case, it kinda defeats the purpose of lacking resource during early game.

Fireblade did good work for me in early game clan boss. I put her in counter attack gear and that cb lived with constant small decrease attack. The possibility of three small poisons is nice too.

Bro, I had no idea how good Shieldgoard can be ... I'm a beginner, I've been playing for almost a month and I've focused on rare or epic champions and items. Even now I don't have a rank 6 champion yet :)). I had no interest in the uncommon champions and bro, I farmed for Warmaiden up to about 250 stages and I had about 4/5 Shieldguard, and I used them to raise the other champions. Only now have I realized what a big mistake I made ...😅😅😅

Does counterattack with turn meter reduction actually benefit you? The enemy has just attacked, has an empty turn meter, you can't reduce it further.

Love your content man. It's really helping me out alot. Just out of curiosity tho, in this vid, you said you would work on Armiguard a little more to improve his stats. Always like your videos Ash. Today I'm finally have made Barbarian FW stage 21 with Scyl, Khatun, Warmaiden and ....yes - two uncommon champions Shieldguard and Zephyr Sniper. Your Videos especially about the "Low Lvl" champs ary really interesting and also a maximum of motivation. Thx for the help!!!!!!!!!! Especially Barbarians FW shows that a FTP Player can make all stages at FW with free/easy to get/farmable champs.

The turn meter reduction on retribution is pointless. The enemy is already at zero turn meter.

Shieldguard, Armiger, Saurus, Elfguard, Zephyr and the common, Sister Militant have all helped me when I was hurting in an area. I added Saurus for Spirit AOEs and Sister Militant for Force AOE and progression was so easy.

Early game player here, and shieldguard has been super handy so far, which I got from one of your older videos. Thanks for the recommendation!

I love Saurus. He was super helpful as a spider tank for me in early game as well as campaign.

Didn't know saurus could be a good option for farming. Awesome. Have 2 shield guards and 2 armigers skilled out just need to max them out. Working on other champs. Man I'm impressed with your f2p account. Been playing close to a year and your further then me. Geez lol great content. Definitely helped me get a better idea and further progress on the game.

These uncommons are nice, but if you're just starting out, it's best to better prioritize saving resources and building your starter and main team first. These champions don't start to excel(from my experience) till you get really good gear on them.

@0:50 Elhain starter champion but Dark Elhain 90 day reward too

I know he’s one of the best uncommon, but I really love the crusader. I’ve spent some time invested in him and he hits like a bus. Though I would not use him for farming, the crusader in my opinion is far more suited for taking on tough walls and attempting to get an extra stat debuff on the enemy if one of his partners has an A1 debuff, with his Rally A2. Again, not the best, but still my favorite champion…

The biggest struggle I've had, and something I haven't seen covered yet, is WHEN to focus on building an Armiger or Shieldguard. After my clan boss team is full masteried? After I'm hard stopped at a Spider lvl? I started over with a F2P account and am trying to figure out when to prioritize Armiger.

Love your videos, Ash! Not to be one of those guys, but "Armiger" is pronounced with a soft g, so like "Armijer". It means bearer of arms, like a squire. Cheers!

Hello, I'm super new and I'm working on gearing Armiger. Destroy gear reduces enemy max hp, right? So once that procs, does that mean his a2 does less damage since the max hp of the enemy was reduced? I'm not high enough level for doom tower yet but I was curious if Destroy gear does lower his a2 damage over time

I‘ve been laughing half a day’s worth in only the first two minutes. Hope this continues the rest of the video.

Ran into a Tag Team Arena team that was just one Shieldguard in each team. Maxed lvl 60 SG in the first round wiped my most powerful team in a turn and a half, and second round went much the same, but my stall team in the third round was able to take the less leveled SG in that round. I'm a believer.

1. I got Shieldguard- helps with all kinds of game areas right from start of game to mid game (?). I even made two- not sure if it is worth while.. 2. Also got Saurus as campaign farmer- hard to get attack up with crappy gear, but he can farm even without great stats ASH showed. 3. Currently working on Armiger. Since I got Coldheart, I can do Spider 20 without Armiger, so haven't got motivation to max him out for that. HOWEVER- Scarab king is a pain and I can't get around it, so will have to get Armiger to max and use him there. F2P day 189.

I've got a shieldguard that I decked out in destroy set to see how he would do against the scarab just for s##ts and giggles and he flat out destroyed it I was like damn.

I have used multiple copies of Shieldguard on spider boss, it’s comical. I have had the same Shieldguard attack five times in a row with his AOE. Obviously that’s as a result of the correct mastery. Unfortunately the higher levels prevent this because eventually you’ll no longer be able to deal 30% of the baby spider’s health in damage in one hit.

You should try Elfguard on Doom Tower Normal Scarab King, HH did a ftp team, I think it was Metal Shaper, Armiger, 2 Elfguards, High Khatun

It's been zero days since I found out that Plarium was showing their best viable champion in the tavern.

Would be a lot nicer iff you actually showed the gear stats on the items themselfs,and yes I know you mentioned it.But there are people who wanna see the current gear value.I'm building an armiger myself,all though i wanna know what armor does he need? Attack/Defence%/Defence/HP? And Gloves? Crit? See there we keep on going.

Ash, Try Duelist and max her out, she’s not perfect by herself but in a pair or group she’s a beast in Regeneration gear set!! Love the channel!

Literally going to watch this later because I seriously need to gear my Armiger and get him to lv 50 on my first f2p account because I need something to block revive that Sorath in Doom Tower and I don't have a Drexthar on that account. My Sicia Flametongue on my 2nd is finally 6 star she's not ready to go to Doom Tower as she is ill equipped to do so and is only lv 23 rn after the upgrade.

Sniper is good for leveling up to level 40. I got good usage out of her in the early game at 40. I wouldn't take her any further than that though. Crusader has a nice “Rally Cry” type skill that comes in handy with a random team mate. Yeah, there are better ones in Rare and Epic level champs, but it seems like a waste to have that skill on a higher rarity unless the champ with the skill is doing something more like healing or cleansing of Debuffs. That's strictly my 2% of 2¢.

Out of all the items in the game . What is the best for shield guard. Reflex or lifestill. ?

Hey Ash, Shield guard is in my 21 faction wars team… I’m 1 yr into raid and love watching your vids.. I love that you do your shard vids giving to charities… so cool. Hey question for you I’m in nightmare clan boss, running solo so can’t get to ultra, should o close my solo clan and join a different clan? My gut says yes but done this game solo so far

Rare Void Champion need a puff can ask the plarum to fix this problem Because the void Shard is hard to get at less the rare void always must be special.

Sniper is by far the #4, she’s great! I got her in the beginning of the game and still love her so it was cool to see her get the honorable mention!

Some people misunderstand and think these uncommons shine right out of the box. They are actually fairly gear-dependent compared to the epics they compete with. But they are fast and cheap to book and ascend, so do that along the way to Dragon 13, which is where the real fun starts.

What are you thinkin about Helior? I've found he's only really useful(but extremely useful) at Dragon above level 20 or so. He can put up a full bar of Poisons on the boss with his A3 if you break the shield on Scorch.

I use saurus everyday. He is my campaign farmer best decision I ever made. I did not have fell hound. 99% of the time its a seven second farm on 12 3 . 6 seconds 1% of the time

Suarus on early levels Spider isn't bad and maybe when I lvl him up and gear him up better- I was actually thinking how the 3 of them would go as a team in the arena xD maybe there are a couple other uncommon that might tell with them, the leggo killing uncommons xD

I got my Shieldguard at 60 fully accended, Now I have enought champions to run Dragon 13 for better shots at 5* and 6* gear I want to rebuild my Shieldguards gear. I also need to finish out his masteries.

Isit better to have crit dam/rate gloves and speed boots or pure attack%% on both if I'm using for dungeons??

Sniper(DE) and Archer(BL) are the same copy . i rarely use sniper coz of kael . in my bannerlord team , archer carries most of the kills .

How about damphire in the third level first kill enemy get an extra turn and the other one an aoe that heal her.

I think you should also build sister militant not as a permanent team member but for a little bit

need advice pls guys ! warpriest VS mother superior to 6star ? new player ,dont have many options . interested in one of them that might last me untill late-endgame ,for cb, doom tower, fw, dung farm , arenas :)) . i know , im askin a lot from those 2 heroes !

Ironically for me the Quality GEAR that these champions have is FAR harder to obtain and equip properly then the actual champions the champions themselves are almost food level in terms of obtaining them but GEARING them can be a nightmare to find the quality gear.

I have been using sheildguard in clan boss. Puts out most of my damage.

Is saurus any good for nightmare campaign? I kind of struggle after Palace of Aravia on Nightmare. I use Ninja, Elhain, Stag Knight and Mausoleum Mage with max masteries, lvl 60 and fully ascended in couples to try and 3 star campaign but I can't solo farm after stage 6-6 on nightmare. I have Tayrel, Dark Elhain too that I'm going to max so I wonder if I should bother with saurus outside faction wars

they need to bring some uncommond that are good for doom tower

I love shieldguard. He is still biggest damage dealer on my FW team.

Shieldguard is on all my teams I suck at this game but with my little amount of artifacts my dude is insane. I only got like 4 or 5 actual good Champs
