@@xlifeiswarx pretty sure he was originally from Cali. All the early pics I've seen of his stuff was on Cali highways in the early 90's, so I just assumed that's where he was from but he definitely got around and painted in a lot of different states.

I used to do that but the video retention plummeted and video retention is everything. This is also partially why most gaming channels only have a 2min retention for a 10 to 20 min video

id love to do longer stuff but the youtube algorithm likes high watchtime and longer videos dont have high watch time here on my page. ill try something in the future that's more long form . i hope people like it :D

I did that for about 8 or so years every week and the videos became the same advice over and over because people dont listen to the advice. And that advice was keep it simple keep it simple keep it simple. I still critique on my insta and I crit for an hour and out of the hundreds or on some weeks the thousand crits i do nearly all of them are " keep it simple "

Oh it for sure is, there are tangents all throughout this and tangents exist in most throw ups but tangents can be used for good, not to mention that ( so long as the tangents arent overwhelming) tangents dont effect throws much. The reason is because tangents typically affect depth and throw ups dont really use depth much at all. Tangents however can promote flow when done right and throwups depend on flow. So what you sacrifice in depth you make up for in flow in many cases. The issue is when tangents cause letter distortions and confusion and that does happen a ton with throw ups too for sure. Typically in newer graffiti artists work. Tangents could also cause stagnation in specific areas ( especially in the outer contours of the throw up), this is also an issue in many throw ups
