It' a Docklands Light Railway train carriage not a subway car ;o) The DLR is an automated, driverless over ground railway to the East of London. Everyone rushes for the front carriage and pretends to drive it. I've been on the NY subway too though so I'd agree it is generally cleaner on the DLR and the London Tube Network.

Because the people are dirty..yes even the visitors throw their trash around, eat, spit, smoke (mostly AD males) and urinate on the train station and in.😢 the train

There's a similar rail system in Buffalo NY, the passenger operates the doors.

I've never even been to London and the first thing I thought was ummmm...no that's the DLR.

Yes my dad works on DLR rail services and he is an manger so I'm on there quite often so that's definitely DLR

Speaking of which, that would make a great episode. Come to NYC and ride the A Train and perform w the street gymnasts/ hip hop dancers. The do some crazy shit and on a moving train no less.
