My 10 year old daughter loves fishing. But because of yall she is begging all the time to do catch and cooks. Trout season just opened here so we went out and caught some trout. She says "Can we make fish sandwiches like Asa does?!?!" So we made trout fish fillet sandwiches. Thank you, Micah, and Me Ancient for helping my daughter fall in love with this more.

@@DustyFishCo Thats YOUR definition of lazy. Video games have led me into lots of opportunities in life including a career in tech and having good income to do whatever I want. That includes both playing video games AND going out and fishing (and a bunch of other hobbies both outdoor and indoor). You can have time for video games without it taking up your life. Dont call people lazy off the bat for something you dont understand.

Little trick from Australia... Put the thin part of the lobster antenna up their poo shute and jiggle/twisted a bit then pull it out, all the thorny bits on the antenna will grab it and you can pull it out without cutting it in half.

When you keep a shark next time it is good to cut off its tail and gut it since sharks pee through there skin it’s supposed to make the meat taste better and keeps the meat cleaner

It's my first time watching. From CT. Used to fish Florida waters. My father took us fishing but I'm the only one out of 5 that enjoyed it. Took my kids and nephews fishing as they were growing up. Today they always ask if I want to go with them. Kudos to you for introducing fishing to your kids. ❤

That parasite @ 2:05:08 is called " Cymothoa Exigua " AKA tongue louse, they literally eat the fish's tongue and all. They even have a horror movie about them called " Bay ", should check it out, it's somewhat funny but also kinda scary when you think about those things and what they can do, not to mention they can get much bigger than that, a LOOOOT bigger than that lol

What I loved about this was you fishing with your father ! Bought back some wonderful memories of taking my father to the Florida keys on holiday with us from the Uk and fishing with him after my mother had passed .sadly he’s no longer with us either now god rest his soul but the fantastic memories are still so fresh in my mind . watching you and Dad enjoy8nd your time together, takes me back to fishing and hunting with my grandfather, i lost my dad in the f9rst year of my time in the U.S. Army, my grandfather and i becme very close, we fished mostly in 0h9ip. kentucky and indiana,our special trips were to the upper peninsula of Michigan,Minnesota, Wisconsin. every day was a blessing. enjoy every moment guys. thanks for these videos.

I just found your channel and im being flooded by memories. i grew up in south miami and my dad would take us down to monroe county all the time. the one shot you had of going to the bait shop, i could quite literally smell the shops essence/ i currently live in north alabama, my father is in panama city beach and in poor health. thank you kind sirs, for reminding me of who and what is important in life. i havnt seen my dad in 13 years and i am now planning a trip to my home state, to take my dad fishing, to make some new memories, i, myself, am not in good health myself, may not be coming back to alabama. i do believe that the ocean has some curing qualities. again, thank you and god bless
