Including the vintage commercials mentally takes my mind back to a world that still feels sane, safe and secure, even for only 3:48:11. Totally worth it as a public service to the mental health of the community.

The fourth episode shows a commercial for the 7/4/1995 Star magazine issue. The "speedy" showcase had a cue sounding quite similar to a cue used on TNPIR94 with Doug Davidson, for which some cues started regularly being used on TPIR around 1996.

I met somebody about 10 years ago, that was called down but didn't go on the stage. There was a time when I was watching almost all of the episodes! IMO, it was the best game show! It's interesting to watch all of them bidding amounts so close to each other. (Why do you think the first bidder knew what they were doing?). 😅

3:45:10 is the closing to the movie called “How U Like Me Now”, but some got taped over with nothing but episodes of “The Price Is Right”. This was followed by WSOD at 3:47:10.

38:55 is “Pathfinder” and this was a complete wipeout where a contestant got all three prizes all wrong after stepping on a wrong number.
@harrychristian42919 ай бұрын
Bob Barker had to assume quite a bit about each contestant, you know. Not the least of which was that they had to have a lick of sense. There were probably meaningful filters. You couldn't just ruin the show all the time. Wokery probably barely existed then.

Wow Denise got screwed on Dice Game. She rolled a 6 that went over the line but hit the side of the end wall and bounced back "on" the line and apparently that didn't count.
