I've been working as a journalist since 2011, when I was hosting my first radio talk show on WASU-FM, North Carolina's radio station.
I've talked to some of the most influential people in Europe, including Polish-multimillionaire Jan Kulczyk or Mark Loughran, one of Microsoft's CEO's.
So what matters when interviewing people? I'd say that empathy and genuine interest in your interviewee are crucial. Being frank (some people might even call it daring) helps, too, as some people don't mind discussing certain topics, provided you ask the right question.
