This fungus is of not much value and this species of Cordycep is grown in lab for the last so many years. Actual fungus of high value is Cordycep sinensis ( Kirajadi) which is found at an altitude of 8000 feet and above in Himalayas, it is collected locally and send to traders. The cost of this fungus is more than 300000 rupees per kg in international market and is effective in various ailments. There is no report of growing it in any lab of course trials are still going on.

In the high altitudes of Sikkim, every year local people trek and collect these. It's locally called YARSAGUMBA. It's used in Chinese medicine and commands a very good price.

Its not fit for comercial market right now. Demand is very low supply is high, can only be marketed through doctors, dieticians, chemists in very small amount... She is training a lot of people, but her own business is not profitable of any kind of mushroom. Hope baba ramdev can able to buy from growers and sell it's medicine
