Why wasn’t Bailey at Intelli, does he ever go to work?

I thought I heard Gabriel’s Oboe in the background when you guys were in Endorffein. That is a very classy shop. Great tour, this trio.

I will be in LA next month and was just thinking about what coffee shops to visit. Thank you for this!

If you have a chance also try and visit Kumquat, Loquat, Stereoscope and/or Regent (I think all of these except for Regent were also recommended in a previous video Brian posted)

Definitely recommend Kumquat and Loquat. Stereoscope I haven't posted about but I really like their packaging and I've been to their shops a few times. Regent I'll have to check out.

Yes! Definitely check out Kumquat and Loquat as well and many of the shops in Koreatown like Document and Alchemist if you're into the vibes

@@BrianQuan if/when you check out Regent be sure to try their barrel aged offerings, they are something wild

Great about Chinese coffees. I think the discussion should not just be about country of origin but also about the variety. For example Bourbon Pointu is a fantastic arabica and it is now available in Madagascar.

I'm planning on putting out a lot more videos about these specific topics. Stay tuned.

love the video! I am lucky to have been to all of these places (not that exact location of DayGlow yet). It has been too long since i have been to intelligentsia, I haven't even been back since the remodel and I don't think they were using Flairs back then. Love Mandarin Stand, even though I have only been able to go once. I was surprised there was no one there when you arrived. I was wondering if you got a special invite to go in when they were closed to the public. When I went, the line was out the door. I am a lot less surprised to see 20 people at the tables when you left.

The past few times I've been it was earlier in the day so I've been able to stand at the stand! It does get insanely packed around that 11am time though.

I’m a night shift nurse trying to find spots that sell decent coffee late at night. So if ya know a place lmk. Just full of disappointment. I’m just bored at night and I don’t want to go to bars. If one serves coffee I’ll go. I just want to vibe people, do my work/read a book, and drink a nice cup of coffee. Cause working the night shift gives me no real life.

The only one that I felt was worth going to was Alchemist which closes around 8pm in koreatown!

@@BrianQuan I just got back from a 2 week long trip from NYC and got to try so much amazing coffee. Found the differences btw NY and LA coffee scenes to be so interesting. Excited to hear your thoughts about NY shops!
