Ya Allah, my husband always puts me down, not so much in front of people, but when we are together always ridicules almost everything I do. He also ridicules my children all the time and is shouting at us 95% of the time. My children are majority of the time afraid to speak to him at times. He's always so negative about everything in life. Ya Allah please change him. I will just pray, as theres nothing else I can think to do. May Allah help my husband to be a pious husband and father and be like the Prophet pbuh. Aameen.

I feel you my dear sister I went through the same thing even after 30 years of marriage and our kids are even married. It’s the up bringing. Parents don’t teach their sons how to behave and how to treat woman. It’s very sad! Continue making duas for yourself.

Assalamu alaykom wa rahma'tullah wa barakatuh, every good deed is a blessing from Allah, and just as a house requires doors, windows, rooms, the roof, the walls -interior and exterior - all are necessary, different but necessary, only Allah knows the truth about our state, we only can hope that Allah will accept from us - so whilst we may be grateful for what we have, we don't even have a guarantee that we are safe [may Allah grant the entire ummah safety. Subhan Allah, may we focus on the *me* in the ummah and ask Allah to rectify and have mercy upon us all. ameen.

*SubhanAllahi wa Bihamdihi SubhanAllah il azeem 100x (Fajr & Maghrib) *SubhanAllah 33x *Alhamdulillah 33x *AllahuAkbar 33x "La ilaha illahu wahdahu La sharika Lahu LahulMulku Wala hul-Hamdu wahuwa ala kulli sheinn Qadeer" 35:32 Then We caused to inherit the Book those We have chosen of Our servants;1 and among them is he who wrongs himself [i.e., sins], and among them is he who is moderate, and among them is he who is foremost in good deeds by permission of Allāh. That [inheritance] is what is the great bounty. 35:33 [For them are] gardens of perpetual residence which they will enter. They will be adorned therein with bracelets of gold and pearls, and their garments therein will be silk. 35:34 And they will say, "Praise to Allāh, who has removed from us [all] sorrow. Indeed, our Lord is Forgiving and Appreciative - 35:35 He who has settled us in the home of duration [i.e., Paradise] out of His bounty. There touches us not in it any fatigue, and there touches us not in it weariness [of mind]."

There is a saying/statement circulating here in my country which said by (blank shiekh) that "the woman who cooks for her family in the month of ramadhan her reward is more than her reciting the quran" is this true? is there a hadith reference on this saying?.

Wa alaikumussalam some scholars have said this such Sheikh Abdullah Al-Mutlaq. We don’t know if it is higher or better, but no doubt she is rewarded immensely if her intention is to please Allah by preparing food for the fasting family, as the prophet peace be upon him said ‘whoever feeds a fasting person at Iftar will have their own reward and copy of the people’s rewards they fed.’ Even better than that is if she prepares the food while listening to the Quran, that way she gets double the reward inshllah.
