Today I sat and wondered why I am the only one in my family who sees all the patterns and toxic cycles that keep repeating themselves. Bad relationships, mental health issues, bitterness and unforgivness. The Holy Spirit just revealed to me that it is because I have been chosen to have the gift of discernment. It has always been rough being able to see through people and feel uneasy in situations. I've always felt like I was too sensitive and but now I know God has chosen me for a purpose. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. ❤❤

I have had this gift for many years, especially after I was saved by the lord. I just never knew there was a name to it. Since I was a teen, I have been able to have this 'knowing' about situations and people. When I look someone in the eyes, I can see their soul/ their intentions. I can feel the room and spirits/ demons (I have had my fair share of demonic encounters) sometimes I will write myself off as crazy, then something will happen to confirm my feelings. I would not call this a curse by any means, as discerning spirits seems to be a very important task for a christian. We walk among evil everyday and it is important to identify it so we do not fall victim to it.

I have felt an ominous and dark presence at night time and when I call out the name of Jesus it goes away. Ive also had dreams that come from God.

I never knew what discernment was but it has been pointed out to me by several witnesses that I have the gift. Thinking back I have always had that " gut feeling" about things, hair standing on the neck, and the ability to measure people up very quickly. I always considered it just common sense until someone I highly respect said clearly to me " Johnny you have the spiritual gift of discernment". One of my first discerning experiences that really shocked me was a funeral I attended that was a friend of mine. I was in the parking lot laughing and telling a few jokes before I went into the building....just in a general good mood despite the circumstances. I felt my friend was at peace and it was nothing for me to be hurting about. However the moment I stepped into the funeral home door the hair on my neck immediately stood up and my gut began to twist. I had a overwhelming feeling of something bad, wrong, and dark being in the presence of that room. ITs been over 10 years and I still vividly remember. I am not the judge but only God...but I felt a very dark presence in that room and I never forgot it. That was my first real experience of discernment. Ive had overwhelming feelings of peace at other funerals and people would ask " did he or she go to heaven" and I without hesitance would say YES!!! So far I have attended 2 that had a very dark presence and of course I keep my mouth shut about it to not hurt anyone....but deep inside I know. So now that I understand I have this gift im struggling trying to understand how to use it for good or how to apply it. So far the only thing I know to do is warn my friends about false teachers and phonies because I can spot them a mile away. I am no preacher, I fear public speaking. So all I know to do is try my best to discern for those I care about and be what I call a " watchman". I guess my job isnt to bring sheep into the flock but watch the flock and sound the alarm when I decern a wolf in sheeps clothing

I was discerning at a level 3 up until my middle teens. The demons made their present known more than anything else. The fear was real. No one to talk to then. I'm at a level 2 now, strong in my faith and leaning on Jesus to bring me back to a level 3.

I had this my whole life bt didn't know how to act until I found out that I was holding onto things that I always felt bad about. I never knew that it held me back the way it did until god gave me the chance to let it go. when I did. my eyes were opened into a world I can change.

Praise for your words: When we learn to quieten internal chatter and our egos we clear a path to see the invisible within the visible thus being in a state of grace and God's consciousness. It is only then can we truly listen and hear and become aware what God sees in us.

Trust In Our Heavenly Father the rest will fall into place according to his will

Such a wonderful video. When I got saved within a very short time I developed a gift of discernment, I could see certain people through the eyes of the Spirit. It was a bit scary at first as I never had an experience like that before, but then I got used to it as I realised it was one of the gifts of the Spirit and I also spoke to a Pastor who said he had the same experience. I now want to receive new levels of my gift by drawing closer to God. 🙏🏽

PleasePray for me that I can use this gift as God intended. I so have a hard time looking into peoples eyes. As i am sometimes face blind, but I can see the way people feel when the emotions are real large. If they are not real large feelings, I think it was me and that I did something wrong till I pray. This gift is like God wants me to guide someone gently, carefully. I only looked at one person and that was hard. So now I have to look at someone eles like that and i need courage and wisdom so I don't faint. I think I'll get my big family Bible out and read as many of the red letters as possible. And pray that i can comprehend. I must say yes Lord what ever you want me to do I will do. I hope i don't chicken out i feel i might & not say the right thing and be mean. Thank you all in advance.
