*SpVgg Bayreuth will initially play their evening home matches at the Steigerwaldstadion since their home stadium, the Hans-Walter-Wild-Stadion, currently lacks floodlights.
*VfB Oldenburg will initially play their evening and winter home matches at the Heinz von Heiden-Arena since their home stadium, the Marschweg-Stadion, currently lacks floodlights and a heated pitch and is bound to noise regulation ordinances for matches after 18:30. The club aims to fix these problems and move back to Oldenburg as soon as possible.
*SC Verl will play their home matches at the Home Deluxe Arena since their home stadium, the Sportclub Arena in Verl, does not meet 3. Liga standards.
This is a video showing a list of all teams and stadiums for the 2022/23 German 3. Liga season ordered by the capacities of the grounds. You will learn all the teams, crests and the name, capacity and opening year of each stadium. Each stadiums has an aerial and inside the ground image to bring you the best immersive experience.
The 2022-23 3. Liga will be the 15th season of the 3. Liga, the 3rd division of German football. It will start on 22 July 2022 and conclude on 27 May 2023. There are 20 teams competing in the league.

Most of these have beautiful locations! I love most of these but I think Dresden is the best. I liked 1860 Munich too because it looked like I was looking into the past/history. Erzgebriger and Saarbrucken also caught my eye. Dortmund II next to the senior club's stadium would be motivating to play at.

Well the layout for the Grünwalder Stadion hasn't changed since 1911 and parts of the Westkurve behind the goal are still the same too like the scoreboard and the lower few rows

the thumbnail is wrong Imo. It's unfair to put Rot Weiss Erfurt stadium in Bayreuth's slot. Reason: Bayreuth stadium is under reform but the expected conclusion of it is the 30th July, even before the 3. Liga starts. In case they don't get green light from DFB on that day, THEN they will have play in Erfurt for the first games of the season, but they are still expected to play in their home this season.

Steigerwaldstadion is the stadium of FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt and not of Bayreuth 😅… Erfurt plays in the Regionalliga (4.Division)

Most of the grounds are of a very high standard. Unfortunately, a lot of the more recent ones also look quite a lot like each other, and thus lack character (but not necessarily atmosphere). Of the lot I probably like the Grünwalder Stadion the most even if it could do with an upgrade here and there.

Bremer Brücke steuert auf 100jähriges Jubiläum zu. 💪🥳 Mega-Atmosphäre. Man sitzt/steht gefühlt mit auf dem Rasen. Oft genug gut gefüllt. Wenn die Brücke bebt…. gibts nichts schönes.

@@knirps4851 du kannst herablassend nörgeln wie du willst 😂😂 Es gibt nunmal den Mythos Bremer Brücke, den kannst du mit nichts wegreden. Bei uns ist es Besonders. Was die Bremer Brücke hat, gibt es in keinem großen Stadion. Dort ist Masse. Bei uns steckt das Herz mit drin. Es heißt nicht umsonst „wo das Herz schlägt“. Wo kannst du die Spieler anfassen, mit ihnen am Spielfeldrand reden? Wo bist du so nah dran? Viel Ahnung scheinst du von Stadien nicht zu haben….

Verls stadium is to small in capacity and lacks amenities for the 3.Liga so that's why they play in Paderborn. Bayreuths stadium doesn't have floodlights so that's why evening games will be played in Erfurt.

In the last few years we have a lot of teams coming up that were not in the professional leagues for a long time, so their infrastructure is really old and not suitable for pro football. Lots of new small to medium sized stadiums coming in the next decade if they mean business.

@@neilwhitaker6284 It's the stadium of FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt (4th division). Originally SpVgg Bayreuth should play there because there real stadium wasn't good enough for 3th division but now they can play at home in Bayreuth after some building works.

Showing the Heinz-van -Heiden-Stadium is correct. It´s alternative stadium for the VfB Oldenburg. Their own stadium Marschweg isn´t suited for the requirements of the 3.Liga. They can only play there with a special exemption.

It is very curious to know that all these clubs with these stadiums have the right to be promoted to the first division sportingly, in my country, Mexico, it is not like that. You necessarily have to meet a certain number of places in the stadium, approximately 25k places for fans, it's a shame. Those requirements are for promotion, even if you win sportingly, if you don't meet that you can't be promoted

Its the same in Germany…there are some conditions that need to be fulfilled aswell…some clubs play in stadiums of other clubs already..for example oldenburg plays in the hdi-arena of hannover 96

@@der_chris8696 there are lots of requirements. The list is too long to name them all. For example the seat capacity needs to be at a minimum of 15.000. The infrastructure needs to be on a certain level, so that the fanbases can be permanently seperated, even on the way to the stadium. But the rules are much more detailed. Other requirements can be a doping-control room, the stadiums lighting, fire safety or even a lightning protection system

ein schöner Überblick. Für mich der größte architektonische Fehler ist es die Ecken frei zu lassen in den Stadien wie z.B. in Essen..., statt diese zu zubauen. Kostet Plätze und sehr viel Stimmung. Völlig unverständlich finde ich.

Wird meistens aus Kostengründen so gemacht, wie z. B. auch in Zwickau. Der Vorteil ist, man kann es später noch ohne viel Aufwand erweitern. Die Lösung in Erfurt finde ich wirklich schlecht, da geht Essen doch noch.

@@GrandTheftChris nein - direkt und nicht später ist der Aufwand wesentlich. günstiger und wirtschaftlich viel effizienter , mal abgesehen von der schlechten Akustik wenn die Ecken frei sind...... für mich als Projektmanager nicht zu Ende gedacht . Klar kann man immer ausbauen ... dann hat man wieder ein Jahr Baustelle für nix

@@manfredobonn Aber nur wenn zu dem Zeitpunkt das Geld da ist. Deswegen wird es so gemacht, weil meistens das Geld für mehr fehlt. Und wenn dann Jahre später mal wieder was angespart ist kann man es dann einfacher erweitern. Das macht schon Sinn.

@@GrandTheftChris bei der damaligen und heutigen Zinslandschaft ist es sicher besser direkt zu investieren seitens der Stadt zumal die Baustelleneinrichtung ja entfällt und wenn man etwas Ahnung hat wäre die direkte Bauweise anstatt nach Jahren wieder ne Baustelle aufzumachen wesentlich rentabler - aber egal - sind ja Politiker die sowas entscheiden mit öffentlichen Geldern hantieren und dann auch noch meinen sie lägen richtig . Politiker konnten noch nie wirtschaftlich vernünftig handeln bei Projekten . Unzählige Male schon bewiesen.... Wenn ich allein daran denke wie lange es gedauert hat das pProjekt Stadionneubau durchzusetzen und was das für Kosten verschlingt. Wahnsinn. Deutsche Bürokratie und Politgremien.. Wenn man das dann kritisiert will das keiner hören... Verschwendung von Steuergeldern... Für die Hälfte des Geldes wurden in Holland 30000 uschauerarenen gebaut. Die lachen über die Deutschen.

Oldenburg, Bayreuth and Verl all have to play in different or multiple stadiums. Oldeburgs and Bayreuths Stadiums both don't have floodlights so the need to play in nearby stadiums(Oldeburg in Hannover and Bayreuth in Erfurt) for evening games. Verls stadium isn't up to standards which is why they play in Paderborn

Also da ist ein böser Fehler drin, das Stadion von Bayreuth heißt nicht Steigerwaldstadion sondern Hans-Walter-Wild Stadion und das gezeigte Stadion ist das von Rot-Weiß Erfurt, die Spielen in der Regionalliga Nord-Ost, nicht in der 3. Liga 🧐

Sadly the 3th german league is a financial death trap for Clubs. A lot of them are in debts and trying to skip this league by financial over investing, because in the 2th league you get way more money.
