Could you do a video on lighting interior wide shots? The specific example for the shot I'm writing is a night time scene with just maybe a few lamps as the practical light sources. And it's a wide shot so the trouble I'm running into would be hiding lights. How would you do that so that studio lights weren't in the frame? And what about cutting to viewing the scene from the outside looking in through a window? Would the lights change?

"The sun at midday is always very high in the sky." Well, that's the filmmaking convention at least. You've probably never been to higher latitudes where in winter it never gets higher than about 30 degrees :) Great video though! Also for moonlight I'd say the strong blue CT (as well as the softness) is also filmmaking convention, since the moon just reflects sunlight and it's actually a very hard source :) Apparently the blue association comes from the fact that when it's very dark, our blue receptors (rods if I'm not mistaken) are more sensitive then those for other colours, so we pick up more blue. Ok enough nerdery!

The sunset one looked great!! That’s amazing what you did there. The moonlit one seemed a little bit too cool, in my opinion, because light from the moon doesn’t actually look blue to that extent. Lighting a scene with just “moonlight” is hard to make look good though, imo.
