The slight shimmer in Base was a nice surprise. For a quick matte single shadow look, you can press base over it just to add some brightness. I wonder when people started going in with thedarks first. When I was younger, one started with the light colors, then added the darks, which is still the way I do it. I might go back and forth, touching up here and there, but I always worked light to dark, like a watercolor painter.

I’ve always follow your makeup tutorial because as an Asian it’s hard to create a look when people have different eyes shapes. Also because I don’t have that much lid space on my eyes it because a mess whenever I search up different makeup tutorials

Hi Judy!! Just watched ur desixkaty review and norvina review.... you definitely make quality reviews and your looks are always inspiring and beautiful!! I usually always wait to buy expensive palettes on sale, but I bought norvina almost as soon as it was out because to me it’s my dream palette since I love purples. The desixkaty was only interesting to me so I can try dose of colors formula and the only shades I thought were unique are blackout and a moment. But today for Black Friday dose of colors had 40% off so I finally pulled the trigger and ordered friendcation! On a different note, I wanted to say that you make great quality videos from the smallest detail I can see that you really take your time and plan them out. I appreciate that you don’t review things as soon as they come out because that means that you take your time to try them and can actually give a real informed review. Also, you shouldn’t have to buy makeup just to review because somebody asked you to you should buy it because it’s something that you want to own. I mean that in the best way possible, and I get that as viewers we always want to see the hottest new palette or foundation or highlighter etc, but it’s impossible to buy every single item been released. So I thank you for what you do put out as a creator informed detailed thought out content, plus demos to help us the viewer make an educated decision. If you don’t already, I recommend you check out Angelica Nyqvist she a smaller Swedish KZfaqr that loves color and brings fresh content to the community. One of her lasts videos she talks about some of these things as a creator trying to keep up with viewer demand and makeup been released all the time and how much work goes into making videos.

Third Look was my favorite but I love purple. I was thinking of selling this one but, even though I haven’t used it yet I think I am going to keep it now. I am going to unload my Soft Glam and Modern Renaissance pallets. I have just bought too many pallets, and prefer cool toned. I have bought a lot of Colourpop, thanks to you. I have several expensive pallets, that I bought mostly on sale or a resale site, but I have a hard time getting away from Colourpop because they are so good and such good value for the money. Hope you become a full time Utuber soon. You are so professional and talented compared to many out there and your tutorials are so wonderful. I get tired of reviews that are just advertising with no help in the how to use the pallet, once you get it. 💕😍

These looks are really gorgeous. I'm going to have to try again because so far this palette has been so hard for me to use multiple shades of the shimmery ones as they all kind of blended together and looked muddy. These looks turned out amazing

The color selection is gorgeous in the Norvina palette. Love the looks you created, and I always love when you do these 3-look videos! I do wish that the Norvina palette had a matte darker purple color and either a black or a very deep plum so it would be easier to darken up the look or add some eyeshadow liner on the outer corners. As you mentioned at the beginning of your video, it has a lot of mid-tones. Still a really beautiful palette though!

I actually did a 50 look challenge in 2019 on my IG with my Bad Habit dupe for this palette (Luna). It really made me find different combos I wouldnt have seen before. This is a lovely palette. I feel the same as u do about Mod Ren - I never reach for it. I've done two 6 look 1 palettes with it but I just don't enjoy it tbh, for me I think it doesnt have enough shimmers or tone variety. I can easily end up getting muddy :-/

I'm veeery pale and the only time I applied Celestial all over my lid, it looked so weird! It leans more periwinkle than pure purple and it just looked awful on me. However, I will try to recreate you look number 3. Somehow you made Celestial work. That eyelook is very pretty! :)

Norvina looks beautiful to look at but honestly purple isn’t very flattering colour on the eyes, it reminds me of domestic violence. Personally Soft Glam is only one I’d recommend.
