Good morning Paul, or afternoon, or evening,or whenever you read this .. Thank you! I was slacking off from painting recently, but this lesson I really liked a lot , because I want to paint in an impressionistic, loose style. This lesson gave me the needed boost , to whip out brush and paint ! Thanks again !! Greetings from sunny Italy; Johnny

Excellents exercices pour un lâcher prise 😊❤ Je pense qu'il faudrait les faire systématiquement, comme un échauffement, avant de se lancer dans "travail" un peu plus élaboré !! Merci à vous Paul

Thank you for always encouraging us to not to stress out and seek perfection, but let the paint do the work. It is so much better for aspiring artists to learn this way rather than being taught tight rules / do’s and dont’s. The door is so suggestively beautiful!

It's amazing how the brain fills in detail. I'm giving these a go. I'm not an abstract person, but the 2nd painting intrigued me. I'm so pleased that young Luca is enjoying art. My great nephew is 11, and I see him being an architect. He loves drawing and sketching. I got him a Faber Castell drawing set in a wooden box, and he draws every day. Interestingly, he takes good care of his set and hits Auntie up for replacements. Money well spent. Thank you for your inspiration.

You are so easy to follow and really make it fun. Good afternoon, dear Paul! Painting quick, abstract sketches may seem like an easy task, but in reality, we need to consider every stroke, every splash, think about where the light and shadow fall, so that in the end, the viewer can grasp the meaning of the entire picture. Great tutorial. We have to learn a lot to paint so fast and loose. Thank you. Greetings from Moldova. Lilia Birnaz 🎨🖌

I have recently, started trying to paint. I love when you say even a beginner can do this but as it turns out, there must be a level before beginner! I have your book and TRY! Even though I am not competent enough to paint these, I love the way you teach, paint, your humor, and your passion!

A really helpful tutorial thank you Paul. Your helpful guidance is at last showing me how to go about painting loosely and remove the block. Can’t wait to have a go! Pam 🤗

Fabulous tutorial. This is the most difficult lesson for me and I loved it. I love loose water color but I am a detailed person so extremely hard not to put the details in. Thank you for always teaching and inspiring me. Really appreciate you taking the time to create these tutorials and they are free. Honestly if you charged what these are worth, could not afford them. Priceless!

Thank you (again!)! I'll try it!😂 Definitely, one of my big issues is a desire to fiddle & add too much detail (I tend toward overanalysis, period!). Good exercise!

thank you so much for your tutorials and inspiration. I need to learn to draw and paint more loose and less detailed. This will help. ---- Just watched - as a German guy in USA --- the Freiburg game. I'm so excited for the next week's game in London. That will be a tight game.

This is so cool. I'm going to try to time myself and use a bigger brush! I have a bad habit of getting lost in unnecessary details.
