Wowza! Got stuck down a massive rabbit hole on this one. Had a blast making this and am pretty stoked about my Renoise exploits. Let me know what you think in the comments.

like Fr fr, your comment made me check the subscriber count and views on the other videos, i could have sworn they where way bigger. really great produced and clear without being oversimplified so i guess i just assumed without checking that it was really popular. i'm sure it will blow up otherwise the algorithm really do be trippin

gotta love the ability to create variation on existing sound!! well done on your experimentations!! this is something i do with samples,... having a maschineJam is perfect for triggerring such events.... provided you program the midi triggering, you can have such events at your finger tips... for any sample/pattern

Thanks mate! Yea the drum one is such an effective techique for fills even without all the extra FX stuff I was doing. Can't wait to test it out more with other breaks - once you have that template you can just use it over and over again. Nice - the maschine Jam looks cool for Midi triggering like that. I know you can map the pattern triggers to a midi controller which is something I've been wanting to do for a while. ✌️😊

Not gunna lie I was quite proud of that one. Took me about an hour and a half to get the recording right tho. Easy to slightly miss the timing on those faders. Would be a great technique to resample and comp. 😊✌️

1:00 I've been using this technique since I can't remember when, especially with mouse scroll. It was my secret weapon :P probably aphex twin applied the same thing earlier

how you liking the faderfox brother? looks as close to elektron endless encoders as you can get with the daw to me? how you’re well g always appreciate your candor 🤙

Thanks Ben - always appreciate your comments mate! I love the FaderFox. I've had it for a while now buts its fantastic. Small form factor so it dosent get in the way & you get used to the small sliders. The faders/Knobs are so easy to assign and setup. It's expensive but I never need to look elsewhere for midi stuff. Especially for Renoise the 8 macros per instrument align perfectly with the FaderFox. You could potentially set up multiple pages of macros for all the different things. 😊✌️
