no joke it literally took me 10-15 minutes of legit trying them, ive "tried them" for like a year but i didnt commit or anything then after a couple attempts i would give up. i already had the motion absolutely perfect so once i really tried i landed them (and it was flat lol) i learned them a little over 2 weeks ago and already have bar to tap on a quarter, 180 bars on lock, bars over gaps, and a bunch of other variations. my main point is that its a really easy yet scary trick to learn and pretty much anyone can do it if they really try, mb for the whole ass paragraph lmao

Don't do barspins like that man, you'll never learn them correctly. My advice to you is to practice high bunny hops. Once you can hop reasonably high, try doing a barspin in the middle of the bunnyhop. Just make sure you do the spin motion once gravity starts pulling you back down. Shouldn't take too long to learn since you already have the commitment. The way you do your barspins is not entirely right. I see you try spinning while pulling up. That's why you end up only hopping a few inches. As to the 360... you also need to know how to hop high, because landing a 360 with both wheels at the same time requires you to be able to pull the back end of the bike up with your toes and arching your back a little. Not only that, but for any 360 you need to keep looking over your shoulder until your upper body has spun 360 degrees and you see the landing. Your hips and legs should follow, but they will only do that properly if you pull the back end up like I said above.

Honestly I made it a goal to ride everyday. I often watched how to videos before I would go and have things in mind each time I rode that I wanted to improve/ learn. Just be intentional with learning by recording yourself and watching it back and consistently push yourself even if you are scared

Theirs no fucking way.
@lukebrandenboy3 жыл бұрын
@@lukeyLuke55 wdym no way? that is a very achievable goal. honestly if you know how to bunny hop and have solid dedication, you could technically learn how to bar spin in a day. again that would require you to fully commit and it wouldn’t be consistent, but in reality it is just a hard trick mentally, but not terribly difficult to “execute” if someone knows the motions. this is coming from me who can’t bars in cause i don’t ride anymore, but i could barspin off of a ramp, flat just takes more commitment so power to him

Quick tip with pick up bars, raise your seat just a couple more inches and pinch when you pull up into a manual. This won’t allow the bike to drop or get away from you. But keep it up bro your killing it!!

The main issue I see with you throwing bar spins is you not pinching the seat with your knees. Without pinching the seat it’ll be hard to keep them consistent with the bike wanting to drop out from under you. Other than that, solid start.

i did my first barspin after about 50 attempts. im about 3 months in and i still cant 180, how tf did you do that day 18?
@will_he96323 жыл бұрын
The secret is turning your head and shoulders and using your legs to help rotate the bike. If you can bunny hop both tires off the ground at the same time instead of pulling the front end up first that seems to be easier. At least from what I've seen teaching the kids at my local to 180. The hard part is learning to fakie half cab out
@Ceedee93 жыл бұрын
I literally just practice fakie for days in a row and nothing else. For me the jump and landing 180 wasn’t hard but turning around was difficult. Just keep practicing doing like a stoppie against a wall and practice turning around. Keep doing it until u can get at least like 3 in a row

Oh thanks for the help :)
