Thanks for reviewing Shots in the Dark! This was a love letter to the Shadowdark community released on Valentine's day. It is free and will always remain free. The print edition on Lulu is at print cost so all proceeds go to Lulu. As for my Mines of Gloomwind adventure, i'd like to point out that there are a few secret passages, not just the one. The bottom of the pit, area 1 leads to area 6. Area 4 and area 8 are connected by teleportation. And then the secret passage you pointed out. My first draft did not include these connections but my intent was to add some "jaquaysing" choice if PCs explore. If I recall correctly "The Adventure Begins" came out in the days of D&D 3.5, when Dungeon Crawl Classics was still the name of their line of D&D adventures published under the original OGL. At that time DCC did not exist as the independent system we know today.

Also, Professor DM of DungeonCraft has an excellent video in his (very old now) Caves of Chaos series where he details how he runs a labyrinth and it is brilliant. Highly recommend!

My thanks for covering No Artpunk. I hope that should you make it to the contents, you will find them every bit as engaging as I did. If you ever do another series like this, I've indeed published a second volume on Itch (ialso free) and will release a special XL 3rd volume dedicated to high level (7-14+) adventures somewhere this or the next month. Melonath Falls is a decisive one but if you take the time to absorb it, it is very good indeed, the closest thing I've found to the style of Gary Gygax's G-series. Caught in the Web of Past & Present was the contest winner and has this year received an updated release from Gabor Lux's E.D.M.T under the name Into the Web of Past & Present. The point of the contest is mostly to focus on the old rulesets, use creatures from the books, add one or two things yourself and still make compelling adventures. I'm not against layout, I do think it, and things like loops or bulletpoints, are overappreciated and content and structure is underappreciated. See you around!

Oh i didnt know the No ArtPunk 😱 will check it for sure. Thanks again for sharing cool stuff with us. Also as someone else said the Goodman Games one is from before they had DCC they used to do lots of content for i think third Ed tons for 3.5 and aome for 4th. Then they made their own game DCC that was based in terms of the core game of 3.5. you can use there old 3.5 stuff in DCC just need to mod it a bitz isnt to hard if you have time. Also the one shot book is cool, i got it as well when i saw it. Just a cool thing you can pick an adventure to drop into a campaign or low prep play to fill in some time. I love these sort of one shot stuff that xan ve done in a game or two.

I love putting these videos on while I'm working and trying to figure out the music playing in the background while you are doing your overviews. Took me way to long to catch the StarCraft music in this one.
